I know it's only been six episodes and the year isn't over, but this is the best K-drama of the year. They resolve things instead of letting it linger and drag out, and I appreciate that they always have one another's back. And the wrist kiss was just everything. This is the rom-com I've been craving for.

To the Wonder had 8 episodes as well but it did a beautiful job portraying the northern Xinjiang countryside. The story, romance, acting and visuals were beautiful. This drama just sucked. It was so boring. If there was more than 8 episodes I'd have dropped it on episode 3.

I screamed when I saw the special episode was out. I didn't realize how much I missed these characters.

I have been loving every single episode. This is the first drama I've ever watched where the family business is Ink. I'm so used to tea, clothes, food, etc., so this is refreshing. I didn't even realize the amount of hard labor and time that went into making ink back then.

So it's just a term and not the actual meaning, okay, got it. I've been scratching my head over this the entire time. Thanks.

Maybe it's the translations or I'm just overthinking it. I realize this is the first Cdrama I've watched with 8 branches and I've never seen the inner dynamics so this is probably normal.

It still doesn't make sense. The FL and her brother are the only ones that refer to him as grandfather (which makes sense because that was their dad's father) while everyone refers to the grandmother as grandmother. They are probably in-laws with the grandmother marrying into the family since it was explained that that the family mainly produces males and the FL is the only female.

Can someone please explain to me how the FL is the granddaughter of Wang Ru Jun (the grandmother) when the FL's grandfather is the brother of the grandmother? Wouldn't that be her great aunt? And the FL's father was the other two men's cousin, right? But the wives refer to the FL's mother as sister-in-law.

Oh, this ending was straight trash.

The first two episodes were so good. I wasn't expecting to laugh so much. And to whoever decided to cast the leads did an amazing job. All three of them have villain faces in the best possible way.

That's probably why they make him pass out every single time I guess to show he's not invincible. But the minute he wakes up he has that fighting energy even on the brink of death.🤣

No. Two different works/dramas. Immortal Ascension season 2 has been announced so Yang Yang will probably film that next year.

The ML is practically a walking corpse, and he's been fighting for his life every single episode. Not a full day has gone by without someone trying to kill him. 😭

I enjoyed this from start to finish.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. The leads' relationship was so healthy and mature, and they got together quite early in the drama. There was none of that miscommunication crap or unnecessary breakup when they decided they wanted to be together they were locked in and I appreciatted it.

Doubtful with Zang Hai Xiao. Zhan is known for never doing a sequel. They always have to replace him.

I might be in the minority, but I did not enjoy this as much as I had hoped I would. The first two episodes reeled me in, but the more I watched, the more I realized that the stories from each of the three girls was not that capatvating to watch. I also didn't feel like Kashgar was represented to it's true potential. If this was not just 8 episodes I would have dropped.

The humiliation Senior Bai is going through is just too much. I hate his sect.
