In my opinion, Love is SELFISH 😞😞 Lovers should be Selfish enough to have relationship. if its not Selfish,…
I have a question in Episode 13 of this drama when the burn victim's husband shielded her from the fire in order to protect her was that selfish or selfless? Because in love I genuinely believe there must be some selflessness when you're in love. The want/desire to protect the one you love at the expense of your own life is selfless (which both leads have displayed). That's why I really don't agree with what you said.
I have to disagree with you on a few certain parts. If anyone is selfish it's Huo Yan. He had 13 years to confess to the FL but he doesn't. So, when he finds out that she's seeing the ML he gets jealous and while heavily inebriated he confesses that he's in love with her, knowing the FL is already head over heels in love with the ML.
In Huo Yan's mind he believes that since he's known/been around the FL longer that she should be with him. He's trying to force love on a woman who for all her life has only seen him as a friend and brother.
When she cut off the friendship I actually applauded her because not only was he not respecting her relationship with the ML he was also not respecting her. It's not her problem to coddle a grown man pushing his love on to her when it's not reciprocated.
I do agree with you on the her just believing that the 13 year crush Huo Yan had for her, just disappeared in a matter of days. In all honesty I think she just wanted her friend back and things to be the way they were, so she just accepted it.
He and Bai Lu had amazing Chemistry in One and Only as star crossed lovers, since they had other obligations,…
I've never seen that drama (I might have to watch) but it shows how great of an actor he is. The fact that there's no physical interactions with the FL in that drama but there's still raw chemistry between them is a testament of his acting ability in my opinion.
I love PMY but I really hope she doesn't touch her face before they start filming this. In her last two dramas, her face didn't move and it was so distracting and took away from her acting because her face had one expression.
"if you're a fan of fluff, leads that are together for most of the drama, and baby voices"God yes, very much yes,…
I think the baby voice is the equivalent of Koren's aegyo. Cute and childlike is somehow meant to be adorable. I don't get nor understand it but I'm American so maybe it's not meant to make sense to me.
This drama is beyond BORING. I tried to like it because I see all the positive comments but there is absolutely nothing interesting about this show. The plot is dry and the leads together make no sense (and they have zero chemistry) Why is he into her? Even in the flashbacks of them as a teenager, I couldn't get it. The FL comes off as very spoiled and unlikeable.
I thought maybe I'm just being nitpicky because I've been in a bit of a slump when it comes to dramas but one episode of A Date with the Future is better than this whole drama.
I don't get the Ren Allen hate when it comes to romance dramas. To be fair I've only watched him in Under the Power and the chemistry between him and Seven Tan was perfection. I don't even remember there being many kissing scenes but who cares? The chemistry is there and you don't need a kissing scene to show chemistry between leads (didn't the untamed prove that?)
But anyway. I'm super excited for this drama and I can't wait until the day it airs.
The name "Good Bad Mother" is such a fitting title for this drama. The mother had good intentions and there's no doubt in my mind that she truly loved her son, but the way she treated her son was bad, not abhorrent (the mother on Go Ahead takes the abhorrent title). From the moment she said "I'll give you a life that your father and I never had", she truly meant it.
She gave him a life where he was barred from friends, happiness, and love that she at least experienced as a child and made Kang Ho a shell of a person that she crafted and molded to fit the life she planned for him.
This to me didn't feel like a show on forgiveness or redemption. It felt like a mother who made a mistake, knew she made a mistake, and lived with it. She just hoped in the next life she'd be that great mother her son deserved.
This drama gets a 9.5 from me. Solid acting from both the mother and the son, a great story (although the court scene was truly unbelievable), and a colorful array of characters.
After reading the novel's description I assumed that Peng Guan Ying's character (Zhuang Guo Dong) would be the possible end game LI. But the actor has a support role so I wonder if she'll go back to her ex-husband Wallace Huo's character (Pa Jia Ming) because Lin Geng Xin's (Fang Xie Wen) romance seems to be short and fleeting.
I genuinely don't care how dated this drama is, I want to watch it. After recently becoming a fan of Crystal Liu and Jing Bo Ran I know the chemistry would be amazing.
