If any prior dramas based on homosexual romance novels are anything to go by (looking at you, The Untamed), it will follow the plot pretty closely, but any overt homosexuality will be taken out, since China does not allow that in their media. So the romance between Mo Ran and Chu Wan Ning will be altered to simply "very close friends" with lots of sexual tension.

I think it's a testament to Ji Sung's ability to choose good projects (and act the hell out of his characters) that most of his dramas have a high rating on MDL.

Finally returned to watching this series after dealing with my severe disappointment about Kim Seon Ho leaving the show. It took me six months to reconcile myself to it. :'(

I haven't watched the drama in a couple years, but if I recall correctly, I believe he wanted to kill the 10th prince because of his marriage ties to General Park Soo Gyeong. It was a politically-motivated decision, though more evil than logical. The 3rd prince was trying to solidify his position in the palace after murdering Wang Mu, and he needed to eliminate the potential threat that the 10th Prince posed as the son-in-law of the most powerful general of the Goryeo armies. While it was highly unlikely that the 10th Prince would ever have raised an army against the 3rd Prince, that wouldn't stop the 10th Prince's clan from using him as a figurehead for rebellion since he was married to the general's daughter. It all boils down to the politics of the various clans that were all vying for power in the palace.

I strongly disagree with you since, despite being produced in America, the Pachinko series is 1) based on a novel by a Korean-American author, 2) its main cast are all native Korean actors, 3) the characters are speaking Korean, and 4) the story is a historical fiction about a Korean family that immigrates to Japan during the Japanese occupation of Korea. The showrunner and producer is an American-Korean woman. I'm failing to see your issue with this.
Your argument is also a straw man fallacy - you're arguing that simply because Pachinko made it onto this website (for several valid reasons, which I listed earlier), that therefore any production with any Asian characters must therefore also qualify. That is completely incorrect, and an irrelevant argument to the actual issue you appear have, which is that Pachinko wasn't produced by a Korean company, therefore making it in your mind not actually "Korean".

I am loving the cast lineup. I'm glad to see a reunion of Namgoong Min and Kim Ji Eun - I loved their chemistry in The Veil.

I didn't like the original show all that much and didn't have an ounce of interest in there being a sequel because I found the main couple incredibly dull, and I only cared about Kim Bum's character. So if this one has him in it, then I'm all for it.

QSS is definitely not a happy drama. The 2ML actually ends up marrying the FL, but the ML still has feelings for her even though they are both in separate relationships. The 2ML is very aware of this fact, and thus has a rather antagonistic relationship with the ML.

The 2nd male lead falls in love with the FL, and there is some fighting between the ML and 2ML over her. If you don't mind a bit of spoiler, read my second comment.

I ended up watching it on one of those kissasian websites - they had it in 720p on their FE server, and in order to get around the buffering problem I downloaded the episodes to my computer.
Que Sera Sera is a really good drama, imo. It's definitely dated, but the characters are so good.

I love the Undateables. In my opinion, in terms of overall story quality, it's better than the more highly-rated "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" and "Her Private Life", both of which fell flat in the last four episodes.

I hesitated too, but I did research before I bought it to find out if it was an official release and not a bootleg copy before buying - checking on YesAsia is what I recommend - they have product pages for out of stock/out of print items, with all the information about the item. Save The Last Dance had an official dvd release in the US.

However, he realized that if he always ran away from things because they were hard, he would never get to experience the good things along the way. He also made some references to the Pixar movie Cars. If you want to watch the episode, it should be available on most k-show websites. I think it’s episode 128 of season 3.

I'm against animal cruelty, but I wouldn't go as as far as saying animals are equal to humans. We should be their caretakers, and we definitely shouldn't hurt them due to cruelty or negligence, but they are definitely not the same.
People eat horses in some countries, and unless you're vegan, you eat animals too. Nobody considers it a crime. However, eating humans is a crime, which means as a society we consider human lives to be more valuable than animal lives.

Not to sound callous, but a show does not need to be shut down because of this. Yes, an innocent animal died due to the negligence of the people directing the scene, but you're talking about putting hundreds of people out of work. And I'm not talking about the actors since they were probably paid beforehand, I'm talking about the production crews, and they don't get paid nearly as much. An animal dying is not cause for putting a bunch of innocent people out of work.
I agree that the parties directly responsible should take the blame and get fined for breaking animal cruelty laws. But calling for the show to be cancelled is not justified.

It was about $40, which was cheaper than any of the other listings, which were all used.
