Somehow at the end, the thing that made my bawl my eyes out...is the storyteller from episode 1, retelling Li Lian Hua's story, forming a perfect parallel. That lowkey broke me.
One question though. If that thing is so dangerous, why don't we just...y'know, destroy the keys? Straight up crush it into powder form? Boom, problem solved? We can even melt it in lava or something, just disfigure it to the point of losing its function? Or, if that thing is so indestructible, throw 1 or 2 into a volcano anyway.
edit: nvm it is indestructible, disregard my comment
EP12: Is it bad that I agree 100% with LSY? Leaders should make the best decision based on the given information and the conditions of their men. Soldiers are not pawns on a chessboard, they're living and breathing humans and they have families. A leader is responsible for what happens to them. If a leader can't keep his composure and makes rash decisions, he shouldn't be leading the organization. During those tumultuous times, people dying was a common occurrence yet it doesn't diminish the value of life. "Evil bad", it's good to have a sense of righteousness, BUT, leading your men to fight a war knowing that the soldiers are exhausted and the chance of losing is very high, is extremely irresponsible and reckless.
I was watching EP5 and I was like"wait, this attack can bypass all physical obstacles no matter how thick they are? To directly hit the target? Why isn't everyone learning this? This is basically just MAGIC?"This one attack is really challenging my suspension of disbelief lol, it is quite literally an unblockable wall-hack attack that's better than a GUN. At least you can hide behind cover from bullets, covers don't save you from THIS lol.
My question is, why didn't TTJ try to do something to LSS? I mean, everyone else was dead anyway, you know she's cookin' something but you don't know what she's cookin'...so why not stop it right away? "Look, I don't know what you're cookin'...but it couldn't possibly be good for me so I'll just stop you right there."
Why the hell are u guys supporting In ha he's a freakin psychopathI don’t understand you guys
Whenever he takes an L, I rejoice (disclaimer: I didn't watch any of the earlier episodes because I was too busy watching Flex X Cop, a FAR superior show)
If you can turn your brain off completely, you can *kinda* enjoy episode 9-12. This show is basically good actors (well, most of them are good) trying to hard-carry a bad script.
In my case, I started from episode 8-9. So I skipped 99% of the stuff but I don't think I've missed a whole lot. At least things are happening. There's some semblance of "tension" here and there and it's somewhat entertaining?
For some reason, the chairman is actually way cooler and way more interesting than the main characters...I don't know why.
Anyway, to fully enjoy this show, you have to be in a state of complete "blissful ignorance". Things are happening...music goes brrrr...cool moments occasionally...don't think too much about the plot. It's all about production quality and OST...(???)
Imma be real, I didn't really expect the show to become this dark and serious. The fluffy and funny moments from earlier are gone...we're in the endgame now.
Imagine coming in expecting "helicopter go brrrr" and what you get is *Beyond Evil* levels of tension.
It's been an incredible journey. Came in with 0 expectations and it blew me away. Hopefully season 2 is just as well-written and we get some well-deserved Yi Soo-Kang Hyun romance lol
A bit late but...damn, episode 7's ending is done so well. No words are needed, just a single look from Kang Hyun is enough. Combined with the music, this is the moment where you understand how serious the situation really is.
This is one of those shows where the premise is kinda dumb so you go in expecting a fun show without much substance and end up feeling "wait, why is this actually good? This kinda slaps?"
I walked in expecting a slightly crazy and fun show and I wasn't disappointed at all. Are there plot holes? Yeah lol. Some of the scenes are absolutely insane though, they're so over the top that it just leaves you speechless lmao
Okay, episode 10 was DOPE af. Regardless of my opinion on the show as a whole, that was one of the coolest moments out of all the Kdramas I watched this year.

(Literally nonstop tears)

And then the show ends after 1 episode (lol)

Literally "wait, hol up, let him cook"
And then...beat drop, fade to black. 10/10
