I can't believe some of these comments. People are acting like they've never had real friendships or relationships. Some say the ML should just be grateful to be friends with the FL because she's smarter. But if your friend or partner is more talented, richer, or more successful than you, it's completely normal to feel insecure sometimes. That's just human nature. If the ML suddenly stopped seeing her as a rival and never felt insecure, it would feel unrealistic. Not every story has to be a fantasy where people behave perfectly.
That said, I do think the ML casting is a bit odd he looks older than I expected. Personally, I was hoping Zhou Yiran would play the ML.

There are grown ass people in replies saying it hurts male's ego and want to show disrespect to women when he just has a competitive streak. God forbids children acts like children and behave immaturely you would want him to treat FL like your drama perfect ML

Otherwise we get the same old trope of cold MLs who is only sweet to FLs. Extra credits to He Yu for playing this role so well half of the reason I watched this drama because of him 🤣🤣
I loved the ML and FL's relationship in Season 1, but ngl, I'm a sucker for the former bully to lover or love hate to romance trope. So I really hope they give us a romance that's worthy of at least the "slight romance" tag.
I've watched two episodes so far, and I've been laughing my ass off. It's been a while since I last enjoyed a comedy K-drama this much. The plot is unusual yet interesting, and the funny characters, along with the excellent cast and perfect casting, make it even better. I just hope it stays this good until the final episode.
When FL heard ML talking with grand tutor did she purposely drink the vine to catch his attention or it was her really venting her frustrations and her being touchy touchy with him after waking up? This behaviour from her was quite confusing
