Being normal is overrated. Pete has so many layers to him, there is so much more to him that what he lets on and the only person caable of bringing out his hidden sides is Vegas.

Pete is definitely someone who is willing to go above and beyond for the people he loves, he is showing sympathy towards Vegas, he understands him since they both were abused by their fathers, he knows that Vegas is wounded and a lost child deep inside.
