BibleBuild: so we got no funny moments in our scenes.
So you tell me that Pete talking out loud to himself in front of Vegas and Vegas eating the noodles to prove that they are not poisoned are not funny moments?
I don’t think Vegas showing concern for Pete was too fast. I think it’s clear Vegas is lonely. Pete is his…
He is lonely but how come that loneliness never got to him when he was using other people? Those people even showed him affection since he manipulated them into falling in love with him. In the book it made sense cause Pete was trying to please Vegas in order to avoid punishement and Vegas liked it. He liked that Pete kept his positivity despite the hell Vegas put him through. It was what made him fall for him. If loneliness alone was enough to make Vegas get attached he would get attached to just anybody which he has not so far. I know Pete excites him and makes things more interesting with his unsual reactions and the fact that he keeps fighting back, but still it feels as if they skipped an important stage to their relationship. And of course they disregard Pete's effect on Vegas that way.
omg Angel you are here too?I came to remind everyone in here that this is the best thriller in K drama history,…
Hello Angel! I am so glad you enoyed the series! To this day mouse remains my most favorite Korean drama. The main reason is the main character, it was so bold of the characters to create a protagonsit like Ba Reum. He was actually evil, I loved him for the manipulative, cold, heartless, ruthless bastard he was. I also loved how he had to face the guilt of his crimes later on too. I loved how the plot kept messing with the viewer's mind and kept you guessing till the end. It is a total 10/10 for me. So all in all I am glad you did not regret watching till the end and it was worht the time. Have you wathced the special episodes as well? The ones that show Ba Reum's crime from his POV?
Vegas' concern for Pete felt out of place and makes the story seems rushed cause it disregards the effect Pete has on Vegas in the novel.
Other than that I enjoyed today's ep. I think Pete opening up to Vegas is him trying to win him over on purpose.
We have seen hints of Pete's dark side and we have witnessed that he is a strong character. During torture he did not break except when Vegas started threating him using his grandmother. Pete was smiling nt because he is enjoying the torure, but because he enjoyed fulfilling his duty and he managed to ruin Vegas' plan. He is restricted physically so he fights Vegas psycologically, the only way he can. Vegas tries to break him in any way possible so Pete fights back in any way he can as well. He refuses to show weakness, he refuses to show pain on his face, he refuses to eat. Even when Vegas forced him to eat he spitted it out. He is chained but remains in control of his actions to some extend. When Vegas allowed himself to be vulnerable Pete had the right words for him to say and it made me think that he might had done it on purpose to win him over slowly by making him relate to him. He does believe that there is no black and white in the world so part of him was not lying but right now his main goal is to either survive or win against Vegas. It would be nice to see Pete messing with Vegas' head so Vegas can get a taste of his own medicine. Pete might be the one chained but he could turn out to be the one in control of the situation if he plays his cards right.
I feel the series Vegas is more immature than the novel Vegas, in the series he seems more impulsive, more reckless,…
EXACTLY! I know they did not have much time to develop theii story but they could have handled certain scenes better. Vegas concern for pete was out of nowhere.
