Great sequel to a lovely prequel

This movie takes of where part one ended, and it does it beautifully showing how these two keep trying to figure out what they want from each other. What triggers them and if and how they can deal with the inevitable end for the one week relationship that is playing games with their minds.

This movie has several moments of tension, making the viewers wonder how will this go? is Seiryo really a masochist falling for impossible people? Or will he Skipp Yuzuru and go for his sister instead? Is Yuzuru really just a jerk? And what about that Shino girl that keeps calling and ruining things?

Part two was just as sweet and fun if not even sweeter, easy to watch and all round lovely... But do watch part one first! And well if you did not like pet one you will not like part two...

Fluff at its best

This is a really sweet and fun romcom with several nice couples, music and a dash of awkwardness. The first episode was a bit low on the humor part but second to eleventh episodes where a feast for the aye and just fun to watch as Icicle or male god and smiles go from fake to real, hetero to bi , hate to love couple in the most adorable way yes all those common tropes in one that are allot of fun to watch. The side characters and side stories are 80% sweet 15% stalkers and 5% annoying at times but over all very lovable.

The main couple is adorable but it bothers me that one seems to have to want be more physical than the other a common theme in many dramas. Why cant we just see two people want to kiss each other instead of the no means yes? or no means just convince me more? the line is not crossed, there are no forced kisses or so just not very mutual though the feeling grow to be very mutual its the physical part that does not seem to sync. Still a very sweet story and adorable character growth with lots of fun fluffy scenes.

Then there is some unnecessary trouble that dragged down the overall experience and score for this show but all in all definitely an easy drama that is worth a watch.

When society terns us in to our worst enemy it can be hard to know what to tell sunset...

This is a very sweet yet at times emotional roller coaster drama, breaking your heart over and over again. Telling the story of a journey with many victims on the way to figuring out what is true in ones heart. Actually showing how every singel person and choice matter no matter how insignificant he/she/thy may think they are.

This story shows surprisingly few signs of prejudges from the outside world and has full fokus on the inner struggles of a person trying to figure out his feelings and the affect on both himself and the people around him who become collateral damage on the way to self-acceptance. Honestly a journey that would have been allot easier if people where taught inclusion from the start, but well that is probably to much to ask for, but hey one day...

It is at times easy to get mad and frustrated by the lead for making so extremely poor choices while lacking communication skills, but what is youth if not that a series of poor choices while learning to deal with the consequences of ones actions. Plus even if the drama shows very little signs of prejudges from the outside world, Tahs struggles are most definitely a result of growing up in a hetero-normative society. So it is there while not being there... kind of like a ghost in the background whispering do not forget you live in a hetero-normative society over and over again.

What makes this drama special is that every singel bad choice was called out and had a realistic non sugarcoated consequence, giving a realistic feel to this drama. I also loved how friendship and different types of relationships are portrayed in this drama, as well as the way they portray the value of a living in a supportive environment for growth and in the long run self acceptance.

This drama has allot of playful fun scenes between the heavy emotions, swimming and running around on beautiful beaches making studying seem FUN, and you might just learn a word or two in Chinese.

All in all this is defiantly a drama worth a watch, I am looking forward to season 2 but hope Tah has become more comfortable with himself so that the relationship can grow and hope he can stop hurting himself and the people around him.

P.s I want to make a side note about the existence of people who are pansexuall as well as bisexuall, just because you fall in love with a person with the same assumed sex as yours does not automatically make you a lesbian or a homosexual. A man can fall in and out of love with a girl and then fall in love with a boy... That boy could be assumed to be a boy but actually be a girl too. Sexuality and gender identity are a spectrum, sound complicated but it is not.

I laughed so loud I think the whole neighborhood heard it

At first I was worried that the fact that all the roles where played by men would turn men in drag in to a punchline but I quickly found that not to be the case. The acting here was surprisingly good while the humor was so bad it made it so very, very, very good.

Every singel joke was just terrible yet funny in a non offensive way. The chemistry between the leads was also good and the whole group was just so adorable fitting in so many trops in to 30 minutes of pure laughter.

My humor may be low some times but it is okay to not have divine humor ;)

This series starts and ends ten years after high school but the rest takes place during the last year of high school. The story is very sweet, with wonderful friendships, solidarity and a strong feeling of we can do it together. The chemistry between the leads is phenomenal yet very innocent.

The male lead does push the female against the wall once in an argument but other than that both male leads are very respectful towards her boundaries and each other. There aren't any annoying side caracters. Things not to be taken for granted in a c-drama.

As in many school C- dramas it is very pure and study oriented. The amount of time these students spend in school is very strange for me having gone to school in Sweden and Israel. The very idea of teachers confiscating mp3s and getting involved in the students social life is very strange for me but it’s interesting to learn about it.

I found myself yelling at them come on just let the kids listen to some music. I personally need music when I study. It feels like the series is trying to say that everybody is different and that students learn in different ways but at the same time it’s very strict. I did feel the story was dragged on a little to long and would rather see some more of the time after high school but otherwise it’s a nice drama.

Started good and got even better

This is a drama that starts off pretty strong only to get better as each episode passes by... While some of the twists are more predictable than others the build up is doen really well. For each twist revealed another question is risen. Why, who, how, wait what, how, who.... As well as anger oh so much anger towards so many people it is almost ridiculous. ANd While I admit most of the story was really great there are som parts towards the end that fell a bit flat, taking away a star from. the total score.

There are a few things that I do want to focus a bit extra on, but since I fear it might spoil it for you Ill put it as a comment.

The acting is great, the characters are interesting (mostly) there are a few plot wholes here and there (or at least things that do not make sense to me) and while there are a few annoying characters their screen time is limited enough for me not to be bothered by them.

For those of you who read my reviews and know I some times watch dramas with my husband, I started this on my own but decided to take a break to let him catch up so we could watch it together. once that was done we finished the last 8 episodes between between Friday evening to lunchtime on Saturday. So it is highly bingeable.

Hubby says it started off goof and only got better an 8,5 from him (a really high score).

Is there really anything after Love?

A beautiful story about love, youth, and loneliness. A romdrama in its true sense where what is not said speaks louder than what actually is said. A silence so painful it broke my heart, over and over again making me feel stuff.

That said this drama also has a whole lot of fluff, there to make sure you see the difference between the joyful past and the numb present. this is also a drama that uses hair to speak to the audience, not only as a marker of time but also something that had me wondering how they could keep their hair that straight or curly for so long...

The OST is one that I will probably remember for a long time, the line: "Hold me in your eyes" in the context of the drama has such great meaning, as the mimics may try to lie but the eyes tell the story, them and of course the hair.

A highly bingebale drama thatI do recommend, and is probably more of an 8.75 than an 8.5

There is something about how this drama was put together that hooked me from the very beginning. So much that I could overlook things that usually bother me like people talking to versions of themselves or poop jokes. Partly because they were done decently, partly because they actually forwarded the plot and partly because the characters where just so very lovable.

There is something about putting togeheter not just opposites but people from completely different places in life in a gruop based on mutual respect and an common interest. A group. that sees you and helps you grow all in a fun setting, adorable themes and even though some may seem slightly over the top they do not cross over to over the top pathetic annoying. Not even once. This is not an easy balance to maintain, especially in dramaland and with some of those acors. But somehow they managed to keep that balance. That alone made this worthy of en extra star. I love this club and would love to have one of those of my own even though I am not sure I would actually dare attend one.

The different ways to act as siblings in this is shown really well, and I must say fond siblings as well as biological siblings in this are some of dramalands best. The parents are some of dramalands worst (not something in the rain bad, but bad).

The romance in this is top, sweet, complicated, it has fun development and incorporates both playfulness, insecurity and shows different ways to find romance. But not only does it give me a romance addict the fix I need it also gives me different ways to love (outside of romance) as well as reasons to love even though it hurts.

Other things I love about this drama is the show of a bunch ways to feel insecure, fighting low self a steam, sthere is no quick fix and you can always relapse and self destruct. The show also manages how low self a steam is nurtured, what can make otherwise good girls lie, rebel and want to die.

So much good in this but not all, some parts are wrapped up to fast, specially the ending and family relations. Even though I said they managed to keep an okay balance I can not completely ignore the potentially annoying elements existence and some characters have moments of just a little bit to perfect.

Also I want a spin off with two of the best friends, preferably filmed a broad. ...

Thirst scenes and smiles as far as stream can reach...

"I'v wanted to lick your muscles since the first time I saw you" is pretty much what this drama has to offer... As we enter the story of the at times slightly annoying wedding planer and the groom with a wedding plan to do the planner.... Spending more time showing the audience his upper body muscles than fully clothed or talking making this an entertaining watch but ot a lot more.

The story itself is okay, it is not good, not bad, it has some sweet and fun moments, a prolonged misunderstanding making most of the viewers think of the geney in Aladdin begging him to just tell the planner the truth and put him out of his misery... but also done in a very evil yet playful way.

The cast and characters are lovely, all in need of an acting lesson or 10, and while I will admit that I was entertained and found several of the cast a pleasure to watch their mimics where often wrong or felt forced focusing a lot more on making scenes where people lick each other than actually delivering dialog beyond smiles and gazes that is.

And well I guess that is the point here the story and delivery could have been a lot better if the focus was on the delivery of dialog instead of making people thirst. That said some of the dialog was actually pretty good and there where actually moments of meaning here and there...

So if you are in the mood for some sweet moments and misunderstanding with a lot of heat this is a really good choice. But if you are sensitive to bad acting or in need of any type of depth you might as well skip this watch.

P.S. Lom (Sunny) may need some acting lessons or better directing but still gets a 10 from me and th eMCD PPL is off the charts

Bad acting meeh story and a questionable agenda...

Someday good actresses will choose to star in a GL.. There will also be great writers lining up to tell amazing stories about love, friendships, and mysteries... There will be a great budget there too, great dialog and amazing kisses...

Obviously not in this, this was pretty much 3 sweet moments, a mom that looked to be the same age as the girls... And a story I felt like I had seen in hetero dramas and while I did appreciate seeing a lesbian couple there where just some twists that made me wonder what are they actually trying to tell us?

And what agenda are they actually trying to convay?

Something in this just felt off, and it was not just the acting.

Great friendship, draggy unnecessary emotional porn....

This drama has allot of good parts but also ALLOT of draggy emotional lectures that seem to be there to show us how doctors should talk to their patients surrounded by all things that seem to be there so the audience will feel emotional... but instead of emotional it just made me tierd sick and brought out my less pacifistic side... It is ofcourse nice to see doctors actually doing their job in a medical drama, putting the patients and their needs first but it just gets to be to much. The way it is edited and added violins and pianos here and there is supposed to bring out the tears but just felt artificill and had the opposite affect on me. The amount of times people in the drama say thank you or apologize would make a lethal drinking game, that not a single person could survive.

What the drama does well is showing allot of types of bonds and friendships between both the patients, their families and the main cast making way for both extremely slow paced romance, bromance, romance , finding comfort in a person in the same situation at the hospital, etc... The 5 friends are playful, fun to watch and just make you wish you where part of their band.

I love that they make way for the female lead to sing even though her singing is just awful, I love the way they use rain to make beautiful emotional scenes (yes some emotional scenes where done well) , i love the food and I love the camping scenery. All things that almost made up for the annoying never ending lectures.. to be honest friendship 10 stars, lectures 5 stars, romance 9 stars.... becomes 8 stars all together. But in a way I find myself wanting to say I am not mad at the creators I am just disappointed...

Fun but something is off

This is a quirky kind of fun drama, a teen fantasy at its most adorable in many ways but also slightly disturbing and kind of annoying in others.

The leads are fun to watch but I do have a few questions about ethics, the role of the adults (though in my book 18 is not a kid), and do feel that the girls rivalry as well best friends choices and actions kind of ruined a big part of the fun in this.

That said its an easy watch with lots of adorable BL satire... not a bad watch just mind the initial second hand embarrassment and turn off your brain and you will be fine.

Bad start, great emotions

This movie starts off pretty bad, low quality and a feel of cringe that had me questioning why I started it in the first place. But as the minutes went by the story and acting developed the moments of second hand embarrassment and cringe subsided and I got to witness a one of the most beautiful cryers and deliveries of emotion from a young male lead I had seen in a while and ended up thinking hey this is kind of cute.

I am not sure I care much about the message in this nor the idea of becoming a star for someone else but that said it was not a bad watch just mind the first 30 minutes or so...

Lovely leads, under developed stories

Loved the leads and there is a lot of interesting slots of life in this drama but there is something about this that failed to make it all the way in to my heart. As most of the twists could be smelled at least an episode in advance but I chose the word slots of life or maybe breezes of life as we never really truly get an invitation in to the life and true mindset of our leads making me feel left outside, making it hard tu fully immerse mysel in the story. Maybe they wanted to tell to many stories at once, maybe they felt like a medley of life from dramas past would make this feel refreshing and new... But all I felt was oh okay... so they went with that trope.

That said again leads are lovely. And the binge was easy.

Sweet dreams are made of cringe

This drama has a lot to offer to the rom com lover, with a whole palette of male leads, friendships, work life blance, comics and what not. But there was just to much cringe, secound hand emberresment and bad acting/directing from the all but the male lead that I just could not rate this higher. Even though the Seos (Kang Joon and In Guk) s presence and characters could easiely be rated with a 10, they were just not enough to save this cringefest.

Jisoo, Love, sorry to say this she can not cry on screen, the way they let a top singer IRL sing badly in karaoke was just mean and so were about 90% of her mimics.

Other than that it was a fun watch, just mind the bad acting, embarrassment and cringe and you will be fine.
