If Women Ruled The World...
This drama is just bursting with hope, positivity, empowerment and fluff... while it does have some common ground with other dramas within its tags... It stands out for it's slightly naive execution mentioning a lot of the issues that face mostly woman both at home and in the workforce by making it seem just a little bit to easy to overcome these and move on... Something that can be really dangerous in real life yet felt good at the same time...The relationships and especially the romance in this drama are slow paced, slightly frustrating at times but it also leaves time for things to change, showing us that thee is a process behind every change, with ups, downs the regular cliches... Making this more of a business, self development, friendship type of drama while the romance gets to take the passenger seat... or maybe even the car behind the friendship... with lots and lots of groundwork, great chemistry, bickering fun that does not really seem to end...
What i l loved the most about this drama was how they showed the importance of a nurturing environment... As a person needs support to find the strength within... The toxic environment will more or less kill you, and it is hard to develop on your own. But Jus meeting one person who believes in the good in you may just change not only your life but also the people around you... fluffy, lovely and all nice giving me butterflies and making me just feel all good inside... even without the romance.
There are some parts that seem a bit boring here and there, I am not sure how necessary they actually were for the plot but seeing how everything comes together is actually pretty impressive.
Bingeabilaty: 9
Power to the women: 10
Romance: 8
Friendship: 9
Annoying characters: medium low
Consent: it has a unicorn but also a pretty bad way to handle the unicorn so,.. maybe an 8
A show i do recommend, just remember that not everybody has access to this type of environment, but it is nice to dream now isn't it... so go dream away, do not let me stop you...

This was a good drama, watch it!
Prepare of a slightly messy review as I have a lot to say and am not sure how to say it, but I tried to divide it in to sections to make it easier to follow... The drama itself is however not the least bit messy, it a is really well made, has a good pacing, ok cinematography, easy to watch, makes you feel all kinds of emotions and is easy to binge. The Story:
The story is good it is fun but not silly, the characters are interesting human and they do a great job showing how conventions make people feel bad about themselves and add unnecessary pressure by simply questioning them as well as showing the dire consequences of forcing people to live up to them or trying to satisfy the ableist eye.
Kids are human too:
I am a sucker for people who treat kids like people, hate it when people lie to. kids, force them to do things out of their reach, bully them etc. So I loved how this drama dealt with this issue. I found myself agreeing with those who stood up for the kid and screaming at the screen, just listen to the kid, can't you see you are bullying your own kid... While at the same time appreciating the way they showed the immense pressure parents are under to raise their kids to be "normal"... And felt empowered as a parent who has always been open with my own kid about these things and supported her individual way of functioning as I too have tried do live by the values this drama seems to convey.
The Healing:
Most of the time the tag healing serve like a warning for me to stay away, but this drama does it really well. I can not put my finger on what it is they do here they makes it different, it could be the whole feel to it that does not ignore the problems. It is in no way perfect and well some part of the story may be over simplified at times but over all they show both the problems society creates but also some solutions, tried and error, mistakes are good kind of deal, is all about finding the right context for you, one that will make you grow, but also be were of your limits... and most importantly the value of accepting ones weakness.
" Pandas are able to survive because they accept their weakness"
Also he drama does a pretty good job showing the concept social construction , as it is society that decided to name things and group things the way we do... What makes a bird a bird, does the ostrich know it can not fly?
Eccentric or NPF representation?
The male lead is described as eccentric. I find the word eccentric as a bit off for this drama because though they do not use the word autism or NPF diagnosis it is very clear to see that both the male lead and one of the side characters have to deal with living with autism in an ablest world... However I can not find the words NPF or autism being used in the description or inside the drama (correct me if I am wrong) only that they say that they function differently than most kids. Not using the made up by humans but agreed upon term does bother me because I would like to see these words normalised and become less exotic/eccentric and more like adjective to help us understand and find representation... Am I making any sense here?
To sum it up, it is a good drama with a good story and good representation... There is also a guy who is a lot like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. So go watch it.
I am not a bad mother after all...

Sweet, fun and more entertaining than good, leaving me wanting more!
This was so much fun, and just perfect for all of those who love dramas about music, idols, romance, mixed identities... ok the regular fluffy drama cliches that may not be a what I would say high quality drama but is HIGHLY entertaining... then this will probably live up to your expectations,The pacing is good, the characters are just the sweetest, funnest ever... the intrigues are just enough to keep you wanting more and the issues that the drama touches are important but to not take the focus off the main story...
I really loved the music, the dynamics between the very different characters as well as the character development. TI can not stress enough how cute the characters in this drama are! though slightly odd even the pet is fluffy and fun, as well as there for a reason! There are great displays of friendship, an a typical controlling parent, an evil CEO...
I just love the female leads playfulness, the second male leads kindness (too kind, to be kind), the male leads broken soul...
I understand that this probably is not for everybody and you will probably either get bored and find it cliche or completely fall for it like I did,
But yes this is just my type of drama, I wish I could have a couple of more episodes and am willing to admit to it´s flaws and therefor took off 0.5 points... but I love it, I love, it, I love it

Oddly entertaining but boys need to learn how to communicate...
This drama is very short, I am willing to say too short and shows these two very opposite boys with one thing and one thing incommon only and that is that both completely lack communication skills. In a way the behaviour displayed by the beautiful boy is kind of the typical bad boy, ,r popular. king... or extremely insecure child testing his surroundings to see if people around him will stay or leave. So basically this guy is actually only crying out for love. Kind of sweet but not very good...
The other boy mr stutter is this super shy, obsessive fan who puts the beautiful boy on the pedestal catering to mr beautifuls desire to be loved. He is also driving by insecurity, and some times it does become kind of creepy and cross the line... However he is actually aware of this and admits to it which is what I do love about this drama.
They actually admit to the faults, they do not ignore the problematic behaviour and actually do show the story around it as well as the problems being put up or putting someone on a pedestal can create. They also show the problems with school hierkis and true friendship, whatever that may be power relations etc...
The second lead is the perfect second lead, he is sweet, kind, understanding and brings out the best in mr stutter.
To sum it up this way way to short but very entertaining and left me wanting more.

So bad it is funny
This short film has so bad quality it is almost impossible to see who is actually in it, it has no subs that I know of but if you have seen enough K-dramas you will not need them.It is hard to know if it the sound or the acting that make the lines badly delivered, but the music is fun, you will probably recognise Lee Jong Suks voice more than his appearance (that is how bad the quality of this is). But in less then 15 minutes you will get too se a portrayal of the lonely life of a teen living alone with a depressed, possibly alcoholic and possibly unemployed father who does not really seem to cara much about his son but is served hangover soup...
The music here is fun and is the perfect contrast to the depressing life of this lonely teen.
And that is about it, I gave it 8 stars for the so bad it is fun to watch as well as what those 15 minutes actually include, as you may guess not for the high quality, but I do think this may be a must watch for any fan of Lee Jong Suk... or maybe not if you want to stay his fan... your choice I guess...

Never has a movie had a name that fit it so well
I do not think I have ever seen a movie with such a wide rage of ratings some love it others hate it so going in to this I did not really know what to expect so my expectations where low. The beginning is sweet and kind of funny, the middle kept me wondering when, what and where something was going to go wrong and then came the twists and while they are obviously not everyones cup of tea I enjoyed them very much and found the ending pretty satisfying. The acting was god, the OST hit the spot, the romance was definitely sweet and sour and seeing its available on Netflix and only 1 hour and 42 minutes I recommend you watch it and form your own opinion about it will you hate it or love it,

Trash, but good trash
This is such a fun ride, not much substance and to be honest quite predictable but oh so much fun as this low quality cinderella meets marry my dead husband and just takes us on a short ride of evil mothers a show of just how little orphans are worth ans a bunch of other stuff. Our male lead is so in love, he will do anything for the female lead yet manages to stay cool while doing it.
The female lead starts off as pathetic as it gets but has this bag of development and while one may think a sudden change would bring a bunch of second hand embarrassment they actually seem to stay clear of it.
The women in this are the bomb, either as evil as evil gets or fun as fun gets all strong characters and 0 middle ground...
It is the kind of drama that you watch knowing it is trash, but couldn´t care less about it being trash as it is the really good type of trash.

The art of making dieing look fun...With a side of Stockholmssyndrom.
This is a pretty decent story about a bunch of people brought together by trauma and what one could call fait. The chemistry between all the leads is really good, the acting decent and the story may not be very realistic but it did keep my attention throughout the binge.
However there are quite a few unnecessary annoying side twists , the female lead spends a lot of time yelling and crying wiht the type of voice that could make glasss explode and while the development of the story has a decent pace there are some parts that are overly done while others under-explored leaving me not completely satisfied in the end of the show.
That said Woo Do Hwan does a great job bringing this character to life, and while he makes it look a littel bit to much fun to die I cant help but fall for his charm,

So good but yet so cringe... and badly paced
This is a fun drama with a whole lot of good (mostly Shin Hye Sun) and a whole lot of cringe... and some of dramalands oddest/worst pacing. The drama starts off all fun and sweet with some darn good acting and what one could say as a gender fluid theme... While one could think there would be a lot of second hand embarrassment the writers of this drama managed to dodge most of these and built up a really bad ass lead. With a whole lot of interesting lives and people around them.
Our lead has had several ethnicities and genders throughout their lives, learned a whole lot of interesting traits and grown up to be a seemingly care free person with a slightly one track mind... Making way for som pretty good humour... Having a gambling addict as a father our lead knew that life number 19 was not going to be easy...
Our male lead, is ok, nothing mind-blowing about him but a nice mix of sweet and cold... The friends and found family around the two are lovely in every single way not at all annoying as some may be. And I especially loved the dramas take on biological family... Saying some times a former anamy becomes ones parent in the next life in those cases it is better to cut them off...
I also really liked the mysterious guy with bells, however his character got way to little screen time and felt cut short in a lot of ways.
The OST is amazing, cinematography lovely and there are a lot of fun lines.
All things that could have made me give this drama a high score as it was also an easy binge and entertaining most of time... Had it not been for what I have to say next this drama could easily have gotten a 9 or a 9,5.
HOWEVER
Pacing- At times so fast you do not understand what just happened other times so slow you wonder if you are watching the drama in slow motion.
Cringe- The characters are often seen side by side with other versions of them selves...
Anticlimactic-The feeling of "was that really all there was to it " took over me several times while watching this drama. So much build up for nothing.
So all in all an ok drama that could have been a lot better but is still entertaining to watch.

Dark
This is definitely not what one would call a romance, as it is a dark investigation in to a woman's past and present it a not so tender light... Surrounded by slander, murder, psychological harm and more slander. Either one of these would be awful but put all in to one drama and most of what you see is pain and obsession. While there are a few moments of tender light, as well as extremely sensual light, most of this drama is dark and sad. The type that makes you wonder how much more can a person take, how mean can people be?
The female lead is a mazing bot in character and acting. The male leads character was well performed but not as amazing as the female lead and the other male leads character was so well written, a combination. of adding fuel to the fire while simultaneously drinking away ones regret...
The cinematography was stunning,, my only complaint is that they dragged it out a bit to much, and added unnecessary twists as well as just a few too many recaps to male me up the score.
If they had just cut out out some parts in the middle and maybe added a scene or two to the en then I may just may have given it a 9 or 9,5,
Also there is very little, preaching, china propaganda, and ehat I would say more or less anti healing element instead of healing acknowledging that some parts of life are just dark, inexcusable and awful. And has several really good quotes from poetry and life...
A drama that will not restore your faith in humanity, but may restore your faith in C-dramas... If you ever loose it that is.

Korea meets Japan with all it´s cutness
This is an easy watch that truly seems to bring out the essence of K and J romance dramas, it doensen't take the best from each side but rather takes the typical from each and combines it in to this pretty decent yet average drama. An enjoyable watch with mostly lovable leads an adorable scaredy cat and a sweet sweet puppy, fun slightly over the top sides part fantasy, part business, part odd environmentalism done really, really strange and part researcher. And while it was an easy binge it was not as memorable as one might think the concept of K meets J could be as I am sure this may end up as one of those that I will look in to and forget I ever Eyed it... or at least most of it, that said there are som memrable paarts, mostly our female leads fantasys and male leads smiles and there where points where I wonders if the writer wrote the plot while listening to hits of the 90´s mostly Ace of Base but some other hit songs too.

So much good ruined by lack of maturity and high voices
Something about this drama reminds me of Gilmore Girls just not as complex and with a lot more yelling done kind of meeh...The story itself is actually pretty good and it does tackle a bunch of interesting issues and has this lovely take on found family, to be honest one of the best single teen mother from a broken family grows up to choose a family of her own... and what a lovely family it is.
The characters are pretty decent, the murder mystery kind of predictable.... But damn these women yell a lot, and by a lot I mean i had to turn off the volume at times as my ears hurt. The cofp f.l is so typical role reversal cop of the worst kind making me wonder how the hell she got the job in the first place as she needs both impols control, rehab and and anger management. The actress preformed well it was the script and directing that failed her completely.
Our so called romance is lacking in so many ways, not so much lack of chemistry but lack of everything pretty much every thing else... As this is a slice of life yelling drama with tiny pebbeles of romance with the most romantic scene being a person falling a sleep and leaning their head against the other person.
There is a complete lack of maturity in all but two guys who lack communication skills but are good at making puppy eyes.
So what can I say the story had a lot of potential but the yelling just killed it off...

80s nostalgia at its worst meets suspence and 80 nostalgia at its best
This movies starts off all colorfull as it ooses of 1980's refrenses making me wonder if the writers/stylists started this movie by just googling the 80's-1990's USA and then copy pasted whatever words they could find.As The Fast and The Furious/ Oceans goes to Seoul, the view of tiers burning to the sound of disco is actually not that bad. What is however a ceime against humanity is how they could take some of koreas most good looking men and make them look unatractive as no one and I mean no one not even Go Kyung Pyo can look good fake gold chains, 1988 or not.
While I get that the point of this show was action and nostalgia, it could have been achieved without ruining the boys images. As the sight of Yoo Ah In in gold chains is now forever loged in my brain. However Park Ju Hyun won the styling lotteri in this as she got to wear the best if the 80s and came off bad ass and cool unlike the boys who just look silly most of the time. Jokes aside this drama does have some ok stayling for the boys here and there too, as well some good car roaring vibes, not to mention raging lunatics, some beloved old characters without a pulse and beautiful use of colors and PPL that shows the evolution of popular brands combining nostalgia with modern day product placement. All light... And to be honest not that interesting/slightly annoying.
But once the first hiest is over the movie turns dark (not only the lighting) and becomes more and more bloody, nailbiting and interesting (styling gets better too), thus making pretty good use of colors, light and contrasts working perfectly together enhance whatever they are trying to enhance, and creating a situation where dark/light, betraial/loyalty, comedy/suspense, friendship/rivery, issues/nonsense... work together pretty well. And though Ill admit most of the comedy is not really my bottle of vintage coca cola the twists and my appreciation for these contrasts did end up making me go from thinking this is meeh lets just get thrue it to see what happens to thinkig oooo now this is interesting.
So in numbers:
Suspence: 8
Nostalgia: 10
Friendship: 9
Cinematography: 8,5
Emotional: 7
Annoying elaments: yes
Twists: 9
PPL:10
Styling: -10
Explosions: 8
Use of cars/trucks/skatebords: 10
So deffenetly an ok watch once you get passed the first half of second hand imberrisment and meehness

Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice but to Kiss!

Cute and sweet but the male lead is a bit to much...
This drama truly is such an adorable dose of cotton candy sweet fluff... A drama that actually mentions the word consent more than once as well as calls lack of consent for what it is, that on it's own should probably give this a 10... However there is something about the "unlucky" male lead Kota that get's on my nerves at times even if he also has this adorable awkwardness to him and a playful side it is slightly drowned out by the over the top mimics and gestures. The other male lead is just the sweets, well acted out not over the top guy ever, I get why everybody loves him and wish we would have gotten to hear more of his inner monologs as I am pretty sure they would have been just as great if not better then Kotas. The supporting characters are barely noticeable but the do fill their function making this a very main couple centred plot, which I like, especially for a show as short as this.
Fluff: 10- it even has fluffy filming
Chemistry: 9
Romance: 8
Consent: 9
Suspence: 7
Annoying characters: Kota at times but the rest are decent
Bingabilaty; 10
Definitely a show I recommend to all in need of a dose of sugar between the hard stuff...

Sweet and Sad
This is one of those beautiful doses of nostalgia, a moment in the life of a bunch of teens... Reminding me of my own youth, as I too was born 1983, had a heart condition, and had to leave my loved ones behind to move to different country, crying on a plane... longing...This movie has an amazing cast, great cinematography and some really good characters. There are a few scenes that annoyed me, but they were properly delt with later on showing a teen with a heart condition as... you know a teen with crushes, wishes and desires beyond a cure... Wanting to stay put so she can get close to her crush... As well as some stuff that others take for granted but teens with heart conditions have to del with. + She actually got to have a scar!
" I need a friend not a nurse"
The flirting in this movie is top notch, and though there are moments when the female lead feels straight out of Disney (especially in the beginning) and I do not agree with all of her decisions. She is pretty cool, bad ass and kind all at the same time without becoming a super hero. The male lead is really sweet in every way possible (almost), playful, kind and listen to this he actually respects women, and seems to grasp the notion of consent before people used the word consent 1999.
The friendships in this movie have their good sides and less good sides, just like most relationships do in real life. They are however really well executed except for some annoying overly high pitched crying here and there, which is why this is a 9 and not a 9,5. There is a a pretty high rate of predictability but also some moments that may surprise you (very few though) .
Level of tears- build up and light fog in the eyes but no full blown snotty crying.
Level of cuteness- High, oh so high...
So if you can handle some pain, go watch this movie. If not save it for a day when you can handle it.
