I don't understand how people can expect the chemistry between FL and ML to be romantic in such a war zone creature…
personally I enjoy action romances because it doesn't get too cheesy or boring. I feel like emotions are heightened during stressful situations, which makes it easier to get attached to people. I didn't mind the romance and am one of the few people who found it enjoyable.
I finally finished all 7 episodes and quite enjoyed them. However, the show starts a bit slow, especially the…
yeah, exactly! Too many people have said that the romance is bad but I quite enjoyed it. Since this isn't a romantic drama, I was expecting any romance scenes at all. I do hope we get more PSJ x HSH development in future episodes.
Idk about the people who can't see the chemistry, overall i like everything about this show.i became hooked since…
same I don't get why everyone's saying they don't have chemistry... they seem to be heading enemies-to-lover direction especially with Jang Tae-Sang having a huge crush on Han So Hee's character but her just finding him annoying
omg are y'all serious??? my demon is literally the best show on this list, it's not only aesthetically pleasing (attractive cast & great CGI), but the plot is intriguing and the main leads' chemistry is off the charts.
Honestly i dont get why people don't like the FL. She had certain things she liked and it's not just going to…
Right? The double standards in this show were driving me up the wall.! Why do the villagers get a free pass to talk shit about her but when she does it, viewers continue to hate her even after she apologizes? The ML was so rude to her too for no reason.
New to k dramas? The male lead being that cold in the start is a common troupe. This isnt a thrilling drama, its…
Even by kdrama standards, the ML of this show was extremely rude to the FL. Usually in kdramas, the ML falls first early on in the show, and does a lot to make up for his rude past behavior and win over the FL. A few examples of this would be Her Private Life, King The Land, or Bora Deborah. But the ML was consistently condescending and sanctimonious towards the FL, and I don't think he ever made up for his mistreatment of FL as the series progressed.
I should know better by now that overhyped dramas are not my thing, they always fall short. I tried watching this…
I hate the ML of Hometown Cha Cha because he's so judgy and rude to FL. To me, the ML's character just isn't relatable or realistic. He envisions himself as being a better and kinder person than the FL. This is evident from how often he misunderstands the FL and acts condescendingly towards her, judging her for her materialistic lifestyle. Yet this wasn't the case, as we can also see the FL going out of her way to help others (ie., giving her patient a free dentist visit, fighting a molester who sexually abused her friend, giving the townspeople a free ride to Seoul). I don't think she's as selfish as the ML makes her out to be, and is, in fact, very strong, caring, and independent. She's actually one of my favorite FLs to date because of how she stands up for others.
What really confuses me is the amount of hate FL gets from viewers for her "snobby" attitude. In contrast, the ML is listed for on many subreddits as being "a near-perfect ML" that matches their (the redditors') ideal type.
Aren't all Kdrama and Cdrama ML's cucks?FL is manipulative, violent, abusive and ML just takes it like a little…
That's not true, kdrama FLs don't generally abuse men, and kdrama MLs aren't cucks or doormats. Either you just hate kdramas, or you're watching dated kdramas, but don't give them a bad rep for something that's not true. As for the sexualization of men, kdramas show the female perspective and are catered towards a female audience which is why you'll see female characters talk about how handsome and charming the ML is but not the other way around.
It's my favorite drama right now... it gets better with every episode and isn't anticlimactic or disappointing like some of the other k-dramas I'm watching.
This drama is actually so good ... ML is such a good actor and has great chemistry with the other characters. I like his interactions with people because he can portray a wide range of emotions with his face, like confusion or anger or naivety and ignorance.
here's an interview showcasing the cast's insane chemistry:
