I've seen a few reviews describing this drama as a melo, and some even said it's sad, however it's not listed…
Have you watched Goblin? This drama has melodramatic scenes similar to what Goblin has, without the sad ending. The tone is similar, but this one has a bit less of the cheerful comedy.
If this had Goblin's OST the drama would be mindblowing. (It's still very good, but the OST matters, it helped…
I found it a bit boring, so my brain mostly tuned it out. I think Ahn Bo Hyun's voice has something to do with it too, it's difficult to put background music to go well with it.
What interplanetary civilization has 24 day weeks?
I'm from Europe, but it's always been 24/7. Or rather I follow the logic, but me and my other foreign Euro friends always used 24/7, but never 24/24. Maybe It's local to your region?
Its true though. Alcohol (ethanol) was discovered by persians, not arabs. Koreans get offended when u call them…
I think it's useless the argue about the origins of alcohol. I would bet you $10000 that over the past 500.000 years alcohol has been discovered & rediscovered many times.

Once you reach adulthood your vocal cords are set in a certain way that makes it extraordinarily difficult to make certain sounds. For a Korean that's 3 times as hard to begin with, even if Shin Hye Sun is the smartest most talented person on Earth, I'm a wee bit skeptical about this part, because I feel this is at the extreme limit of human ability. (I suppose still possible, but a very small subset of ppl can do it without spending at least months practicing)
Ok but the highlight of this episode is pretty much shin hye sun speaking in Arabic (probably egyption dialect)…
She also spoke in a language I'm fluent at in ep1 or 2 & it was decent to the point that I suspect they might've used generative AI to fix the accent, to a point.

After just 4 eps it's more than early to say that.
Looking at your profile, your taste is quite a distance away from this genre, so it's not that surprising that you feel this way.
