This would be pretty close to a perfect romcom except Yoo In Na's face ruins it. She's had so much work and/or…
There were a few scenes that should've been reshot from a different angle, where her features are presented in a less than flattering way, otherwise she is her usual vibrant self.
Istg if Sang Jin end up with that girl U-ri, I would cringe so hard. I find her a bit annoying too because she…
For a young and pretty woman this strategy almost always works in real life, so as cringey as it is, it's not the most unrealistic thing about this drama.
Are there really only news about K-dramas on here? What about the dramas from other countries?
Those kdrama news are basically the production company or TV station promoting their dramas on the site, like on Soompi. This practice is not prevalent in other countries, yet.
hopefully the teaser is misleading, I hoped for dark and intense vampire story, not romcom
That's very unlikely for a kdrama. It's either romcom, or B movie horror, but definitely not something dark & gripping. (the second one is very unlikely of course & based on the teaser this is just a normal romcom)
feeling like half of people here are exciting to continue and others finding it boring and annoying, so is it…
The first 5 episodes depict a really weird breakup with a lot of odd stuff in between, after that it's like a 8/10 romcom with one really insensitive comment involving Auschwitz. (so far anyway)
"In the Auschwitch concentration camp where people were dying on their excrement, some of them, with a cup of water, drank half it and washed their face with the rest. They even shaved with a piece of glass using the back of a tray as a mirror. And they survived. Taking care of your appearance and dressing up is a matter of survival. As I am single, I should do something to survive."
Due to the comments I have specifically watched the holocaust related scene in episode 9. It's very insensitive,…
Possibly spent 10 minutes on Google, or read the memoir a long time ago without understanding historical context. (you could be right too, I don't really know)
Due to the comments I have specifically watched the holocaust related scene in episode 9. It's very insensitive, but not to the point where I would cancel the show for it. People sometimes forget that education on EU history is barely present in some of the big Asian nations, they just don't get it, it's not necessarily the result of harmful intent, just ignorance. (this is worse than the Africa thing is Shooting Stars though, but it's hard to say what the writer was thinking when she wrote that line)
I have looked at your "faves" list just now, based on that I think I would stay away.
This is the exact dialog from the subs.
