Dropped cuz as most others J-dramas the drama and the plot is way too OTT

I said it all in the title.
I dropped it because the plot and the acting were both too overdone to the point it quickly became cringe…
It started it off quite good though but even before second episode, it started becoming meh then just boring.
I tried to go as far as I could but not gonna lie it was very hard to keep on especially when it’s something you don’t actually genuinely enjoy watching…T_T
I loved the intention behind the series with the ´boy reborn as a girl to try attract his best friend…’ although.
no memorable OST.

(Be prepared to be rolling on the floor from laughter and also having your eyes bawling out…!)

I love how the series conveys many emotions and realistic situations although it’s about a time travel ! I would recommend it even if you are not a big fan of these type of plots because it deals MANY topics like child abuse, ableism and even depicts CODAs in a right way !
Honestly the whole series was just incredible. The beggining of the time travel was slightly confusing but things quickly gets untangled so just trust the process !
The last episodes (13-16) were really everything for me ! Everything started to be untangled and on top of that I was crying non stop…???
The last episode was THE BEST and got me sobbing, devastated then just purely happy for every single character ! This series is really the best I’ve ever seen until now (then come Vincenzo, Squid game, The Penthouse and Revenge Note !) and had the best ending you could ever have dreamt of for a series ! I really recommend it.

Now let me break down how I felt and on specific points but honnestly just overlook those negative details !

Before we get down to this, I want to say thank you to the writers because they made me like se kyeong again in the last episodes !

The OST are just incredible. I keep listening to them. I also love the fact they play iconic songs like "tears in heaven" by eric clapton or even "Sunset Glow" by BigBang.

The series is really realistic in the way it's told though there were some anachronisms but who cares right! Overall, they really respected timelines and even for small references like the calgary jersey yi chan wore or the airports name !

The cast did so good with the Sign Language ! I love how natural they looked like. Then they embodied so well their characters especially Ryeoun and choi hyun wook <333. I've always loved the latter and got to discover more of him and ryeon and I'm definitely not gonna stop looking for their future projects. Btw, I'm still waiting for Weak Hero 2 lol ! I can't forget about it ofc.

The only bad things in this series (and these just small details here) would be the way writers forced too much the romance between se-kyeong's daughter and ryeoun... Like they don't have the chemistry, she is so annoying (btw I had to take a break of one month from the series at episode 7 because of her, she was being SO annoying but with her background being unveiled afterwards, I got to hate her less lol -I still hate her tho-). At this point, eun gyeol had more chemistry with everyone except her.

EDIT : AS I SAID IN THE BEGGINING,I GOT TO LIKE HER AGAIN AFTERWARDS. SHE GAINED MY HEART BACK BECAUSE IN THE FIRST EPISODES SHE WAS ONE OF THE BEST CHARACTERS OF THE SERIES ! Now she has gained back that place !

A quick shoutout to how open-minded the kids were for that period (1995) even assuming and joking on the fact he might be gay and/or having a crush on Lee Chan.

Now I gotta say this, we need a BL with Ryeoun and Choi Hyun Wook because they have THE chemistry we don't have in every BL ! But in this series I could definetely not imagine a relationship between them because of their situation cuz we're not seeking for a sweet home alabama series yk. Tbh Se-kyeong and Cheong-ah had SO much chemistry until writers f*cked se-kyeong's character (not gonna spoil so I'mma stop here lol).

As I went through the whole series,I also hated three things :
- How dumb se kyeong and eun-gyeol were when they wanted to because how come things didn’t click when he wore a squid game outfit and she mentionned the series ?? Other things like this continue but they continued to ignore all this and writers stretched that ep13..
- Why did writers made cheong ah character only centered around her romance with lee chan at some point (for 2-3eps)? To the point she would only talk about sekyeong’s choice btw Lee chan and eun gyeol with her ? when she meets her eventhough she could have spoken with her much more and deepen their friendship since sekyeong (I knew it’s not really her but no spoil !) knew sign language.
EDIT : Fortunately, she stopped that at ep14 and was genuinely sekyeong’s friend from then on !

- Then once again ! The romance between sekyeong and eun-gyeol sucks and was boring asf. The worse was that because of their unwanted romance, sometimes (especially starting at ep11) the plot was stretched out just to see them whimpering over each other and their lives ?This could be what really dropped the rate a little imo.

But don’t get pushed away from the series by the beggining of my review because it was really incredible. The cast and the acting was sensationnal, emotions were perfectly delivered, the cliffhangers were just on point. I went through so many emotions : from joy, thrill to sadness, empathy. Lee Chan is definetely the best character ever because he is very complex. Cheong ah as well and her background is really heartbreaking…
Afterwards both couples were funny to watch but still main couple had chemistry, what eun gyeol and se-kyeong still didn’t have.

This series will and has to become a classic !

SHOUTOUT TO THE BAND MEMBERS. They were gorgeous, funny and so kind❤️. Hope to see more of the cast ! Halmeoni/Grandma is so precious as well❤️ !

ANOTHER SHOUTOUT TO CHEONG AH’S FATHER ?❤️. Eventhough he wasn’t there for her when she needed it the most, when the time came he started to redeem himself. You could also see how caring he was. Glad he made the step-family stop the abuse! That witch step mother really was annoying and ableist at that…

slow-paced but !

If you are afraid or just don’t like slow-paced series/movies just don’t start this because I, didn’t really got that hooked and invested to the series until the mid-second when murders started to become abundant in a sort of way.
But when I got hooked by the plot, I couldn’t stop and that’s why I binge-watched this in like two days.
The cast, acting and story are just memorable. All the legendary actors played in it. The music was not that special but the intro is just so well done ! It’s giving true crime ytb channels!

The fact that it was a ´short’ series due to its duration is only in the numbers because the episode are not ´plain’. Everything is there, every clue is highlighted at the right moment to help you click only when the screenwriter wanted us to click.

Let’s get back to the story and what I liked in it !
First of all, I loved the bond between Capitain Park and Choi because beyond all the mean things they could have said to each other, you could always sense and see the love and tenderness that lie in their eyes. I also loved how they sold their complicated relationship and above all, how every character actually had some sort of background explained and sold at the end.

Lastly but not least, (won’t spoil the names dw, I will be vague), the series actually managed to make me kinda like the mentally unstable son’s character (not in a love/romantic way). To be honest, he grew on me as well as his mother. I felt compassion to them eventhough what she did was not good at all. They suffered a lot and I couldn’t help but feeling compassionate to them to the point I was very moved by the mother’s sacrifice and even started imagining the FL and her brother start creating bonds as he received help from medical professionals to socialize more as to say.

Not interested eventhough the beggining was on FIRE it quickly dropped...

Didn't want to start the second volume of this film because the first one was good to watch as a must-see but boring as a film itself but surprisingly, I decided as soon as I finished the first film to watch the next one. Maybe out of curiosity. To see what could be that new to the point they directed a second part to the film.
Then, let me clarify, I dropped it at 1:25:35 out of the 2hours. The beggining, to be precise, the first fifty minutes were just incredible !! Even better than the whole first volume of the film ! But then it started being boring asf. The acting had no flavour to me from then on (sorry to the actors) and the plot was just non-existent at that point of the movie...

A cult film only but not that good...

The beggining was really good. Then it starts being boring. I hate the MC, he is even more naive than most MCs in shonen as to say. He does nothing except whimping in his scenes so...
For the movie's duration, I felt like we could have more characters' backgrounds explained and character development. Ofc we had some, but it was not sufficient. I still need an explanation of what's going on in between noriko and the teacher. I have an idea but it's something shady and I prefer ignore it.

The only plotwist in this would be when kawada found out how to escape together.

Not sure if I'mma watch the Requiem because for the first part of the movie I was excited to find a site on which to go watch it since it is considered a cult movie (that even inspired hunger games) everyone keeps talking abt and I was really disappointed.

It's a go for a one time watching but I surely won't give it a high rewatch value.

Though shoutout to the stunts choreographers and the actors as well. They did a great job on this aspect. For that time especially !

You should watch it but watch out for some things...

So. I would recommend you to watch it and I would give it between 8/9 out of 10. Let me explain what I liked and what I did not.

Before we start, shout out to Yong-jun's mom and Jun woo. These two are litteraly the best characters so far imo. Wished they had more implication in the film, especially Jun woo ! He had a very good chemistry and a genuine friendship with Yong-Jun.(Btw Gi-woong's dad was so cute and their story moved me tho we didn't get to know all of it and his reasons...)

Then before we dive into my thoughts on the film, let me tell you : the cast and the ost were just ON POINT. Period.

I did liked the film for its very nice pacing and how truthfull it depicted bullying, and also homophobia. It was really represented very well. For the outcome of the movie, I'm confused since it was an open one yes, but too much for me. You know when you get that feeling of something unfinished ? That's what I had. We don't even know if the feelings were requited though I feel yes.

What I disliked would be the VERY borderline relationship of the two ML. I felt like it was very toxic and unsane. They had that questionnable passive-aggressive relationship. One would hit the other and then they would share a very intense eye-contact. Another time one would kiss the other and the latter would response by beating him up or litteraly spitting on his face. So I didn't got the thing when they moved from that to a sort of implied situationship especially if you have in mind Yong-jun s€xually assaulted his crush (maybe more... I didn't really understand what was going on on that scene.)

On the other side, they stayed considerate to each other. It was actually nice and very thoughtful of Gi woong to do what he could to get back the chip on which was that video the bullies took of Yong-jun as they were assaulting him.

I made a shout out to my fav characters so I'mma do the same for those I hated.
This fake a** Gitaek first. Why betray the person who in addition of being your only friend (apparently), was also the one always helping you out to the point he gets also beaten ??? This was very low. Plus Gi taek never apologized for that...

Then second one would be Class President. Oh gosh- He is exhaustivingly fake and I feel like he has some sort of inferiority complex. But boy, having a rich and powerful mother doesn't allow you to bully and even assault s€xually people with your 'friends' !Tbh, I've always felt like he wasn't straight at all (eventho he was acting all homophobic). Especially when he was talking to Yong-jun in the washrooms at the beggining.

Wished there was a second volume of the film to have my unanswered questions solved...

Could have been extremely good if the ending was not so messed up and weird

Side note before I dive in : I've started watching it since the day it was first aired so as to say : December 4th,2023

So until the very last episode EVERYTHING was extraordinary good, even if they were little things that were off-logical yet you could really overlook it, it's insignificant !
Then came that damn episode in which everything was messed up, done weirdly, it went from a ghost thing to a very weird Aib (Alice in borderland) remake with crazy parents. Then I beared everything through the whole episode hoping (not really) it woud turn out good but no, they even messed it up deeper lmao. Writers really lost it at that point T-T. Then I went to hoping the series would end up there but no ! Writers really like to torture us to the point the ending was hinting at a season 2. I hope they won't be one because apart of remaking the same thing with this time that always whimpering, annoying FL who in her (really bad)way will try to make her classmates know abt what she knows abt the game and will obviously try to fight back the crazy parents I don't see what could happen. I seriously feel like it would be a never ending circle.
I'm now done tackling the story and that last episode that plummetted my rate and even now as I'm writing this review I don't know how to rate it but I think if I end up giving it a 1, understand that it's because this ending is the worst you could ever have seen in the cinema industry. I don't get why people are rating it so high. Plus the way Viki fooled us and never mentionned it was some kind of science-fiction/ fantastic (yet not really )series...

CHARACTERS

The cast is INCREDIBLE ! Especially gyeong jun's actor. I love him sm, even more after this new series of him. He is very talented. He went from that cute and bubbly character in "Tasty Florida" to that psycho bully in "night has come". Btw I'm still waiting for an explanation on why he was crying alone after he litteraly killed a character lmfao. Then Jeong won really absolutely gained my heart at the end, I kinda shipped her with FL tbh. Then ML, I liked him at the beggining he was just incredible in all aspects. But after, he started to just be mean or would see things and promise to help and end up doing nothing or just ignore the bad things happening in front of him and move on like-. Plus he only cares abt FL.

Let's move on our dear bestie, aka FL. I really loved the idea of having a badass female but this one directly to the bin ! Like first she would be whimpering everytime, going to dark and remote places alone, keeps hints for her and when the timing would be absolutely good to set herself up (accidentaly yet in the dumbest way) she would judge it good to tell the others abt those hints she has found. Also she would be acting as a detective taking photos but sis. What's the point when you don't even use those photos you've taken or those clues you've collected ??? Da Beom is the perfect epitome of "don't trust people by looks" lmao. Then the bullying plot abt se-eun at the end is very weird since litteraly EVERYONE could tell it was fake but here it is...

Now let's move another topic : The music ! I don't really remember the OST since it was basically just theme musics but it was well put and in the good situations. Shout out to the writers for using the purge alarm tho. I really appreciated as a fan of the American Nightmare series <3.

To conclude, I would not recommend you to watch it unless you stop at the episode before the last one and leave it there eventhough you would feel like you miss something to end it.

Well...

The story has something quite good and refreshing considering the idea and all, yet I did dropped it after going through half the film. I don't want to be harsh but the acting and the cinematography was somehow meh to me. I did tried to go as far as possible and lowkey enjoyed it but I've always had this feeling of something missing and it was the acting.

But do not stop on to my review and check it out yourself to make your own opinion on it !
Maybe you'll like both the story and the acting, cast

Both a chill series to watch and got me hooked at the same time !

I will talk more about the characters in this review but you have to know a few things about this series !
First, don’t be fooled by the ´little ´ amount of episodes (8) or the short duration (40-50mn) compared to regular dramas because you won’t even notice. It’s very complete from the beggining to the end.
Eventhough I was watching while crocheting and embroidering, it got me really invested in. I went through so many emotions ! Mostly hate towards two or three characters especially so as to say that fake and psycho friend of junseong, director hwang and that neighbor. I loved the neighbor at the beggining for feeling something was off as well as her boyfriend and for trying to help min woo but she quickly started acting stupid. I mean why writers made her follow the at some point to just film and not call the police ?? She could has started by calling the police before taking the proof. But I appreciated her help to minwoo afterwards. Actually we didn’t get to have a closure for her and her family so this would be the only bad point for me.
Throughout the whole show, the real villain was all along jaehyo ! He was so inhumane ! First he came up with the twisted plan, dragged his supposedly best friend junseong in it, kept torturing min woo and tried so many time to kill him…
The OST are in point but like not memorable to put in my playlist for example but both the intros were so accurate and high-budget, I loved it !!

Then before we get down to get the characters, let me tell you the cast, the acting were just pure délice ! ?✨I already knew some actors (junseong, minwoo and minwoo’s mom) so they proved their talent again but I got to discover others like Jaehyo and the two reapers.

NOW WHAT YOU ALL WAITED FOR : The characters !

Minwoo is such a freaking good character and very complex. I love him so much. He went through a lot and people were always taking advantage of him for being rich even from childhood… But he kept trusting the world around him ?. He is so wholesome but I know he will have severe sequels afterwards and definetely trust issues and he doesn’t deserve that ! His reactions as a human were really accurate, as he was always doubting they would let him go alive and tried to save himself multiple times. In this situation everyone who got abducted by their so-said friend(s) would have the same reaction. He gave both of them the right punishment they deserved !!

Before we get to his mother, kudos to the reaper who from the beggining always respected her and even disobeyed his boss because he saw and admired how strong her maternal love was and how strong she was always !

Then minwoo’s mom is litteraly my second fave!
Even if everything was being way too overwhelming, she managed to think rationally. An example would be when she tested the echo when she was supposed to meet (….) *censored* to try to locate where they were. Another example was when she revealed her plan at the end of last episode, how she took advantage of the disadvantageous situation she was in and turned it to something incredible. I loved the moment she told the secretary to ask minwoo what he wanted to do with (….) *censored again*

The end was so satisfying to watch and very smart. Many things were well-thought of and really interesting ! The symbolic with Jaehyo’s voice talking to junseong at the end and him not turning back was so strong…?❤️
To end this review, keep in mind this is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED !!

Very meh

Okay so. Before I get in, just keep in mind I just dropped the movie and I even gave it so many chances to the point I couldn't stand it anymore.

First of all, the characters were just so 'non-human'. Let me put it better : I felt like I was watching dolls moving. I don't know why especially when the cast is composed of well-known actors that I also love...
The 'tomboy-poker face senior everyone seems to be smitten for' (already forgot their names...) was just roaming around, playing with the girls' hearts knowing damn well the 'power' she has on their feelings... After that, she would do : Nothing throughout the whole movie...
The girl she is in love with (apparently lol) is a character I just hate. She litteraly skipped her friend (who she knew had an obvious crush on the 'juliet girl'/tomboy) after getting close to her... Like even if I don't really like the idea of her dating her friend's crush, I would have respected her choice if she had at least kept in touch with her friend and not be sticking ALWAYS with the other girl like she's doing.

Then let's talk about the chemistry. Of course, it's a romance movie so obviously there would be chemistry huh ? Well not here.
I litteraly don't undestand how they ended up loving each other when all they do is stare at each other most of the time with the 'juliet girl' showing no emotions and the other girl always smiling. It felt both so odd and plain to watch these scenes. Plus from what I saw (I stopped at 1:02:38), the plot was really lacking...
Even Youtube low budgets-series do better atp. I was very disappointed since GLs are really rare and sadly, often low budgets if there are any but I decided to give it a chance. I now regret my decision.
I mean the 'juliet girl' has even more chemistry with her male friend (my fav character in all this) than she has with Ha-nam (the tomboy girl, I think it's her name...?).

To end this, I really felt like I wasted my time on this. It was a 'plot-less' movie imo.
Btw shoutout to this scene where the 'shy girl/romeo girl ?' was laying on a bench, her face litteraly covered by her friend's skirt. It got me like 'wth?'.

Also I haven't seen that much of the character of that girl directing the musical but I don't know, I like her. She seems to like the 'shy girl' but I might be wrong.
I don't know what happened between 'shy girl's sister and the female director but they seem to have a background together now that I think of it

Plz I wanna know about what the two things I made hypothesies on below so feel free to spoil me lmao. Also I didn't intended to be cruel, if you think I was, in my review. i'm just writing about my feelings right after my watching session.

Short yet efficient !

Short yet incredibly lovely cute. Also the themes that got discussed eventho they were serious they managed to make it in a very understanding manner. I've learned many things ffrom this series : Love yourself as you are etc...

All the characters were correctly indepthed eventho the episodes length was quite short. At first I absolutely hated Yu-mi then I got to start liking her. Min-jae is the character I hate and will continue to. I don't know even afterwards he seemed fake and off to FL.

The other characters are just chief kiss.

The OST were on point and just purely lovely. The cast is very good. Btw the actor playing seon-ho REALLY looks like Eun-woo especially when he smiles ??.

For those who want to check it out it's on Youtube !

Incredible. Watch it ASAP !

I absolutely loved it. I was into it from the beggining to the end. The length was perfect.
One of the rare kdramas with not a predominant romantic relationship and I absolutely loved it.
I enjoyed it from the very beggining.

If I had to point out little things I disliked,it would be (btw I'm being tacky because you can really overlook that):

- It was interesting to have gay characters but I felt like the couple that was revealed was as waited as irrelevant. To be clearer I already felt
at a certain point that it was Sejin that was dating him (not gonna spoil the character's name) from the little flashbacks yet when it was revealed it was already too obvious to make me be like 'Oh. Such a plot twist!' Also in when the latests scenes of their couple was showed as a flashback, I felt like there was no chemistry between them, as if they were putting on some act ? (you know, as in some BLs...). Yet they were cute together (tbh I would have preferred if it was been revealed jae bum was actually really dating Wonseok because in their photos they really had some chemistry).

- We never got an explanation on how the four boys knew each others and how things got ruined since lately they were almost all having beefs with each others.
--> a bully to the two others, who turns out to be also a gaslighter and really manipulative afterwards to the third and last one..

- The way writers erased Jae Bum and ML's friendship as soon as they introduced it, was disappointing because I liked their genuine and cute interactions and after it just maked no sense how they went from super friendly to just acquaintances who talk only when chan mi and the investigation are getting involved smh...

- Then the end. I felt last ep was too rushed. Evil character (forgot his name) absolutely didn't receive what he deserved when he litteraly destroyed every single character's life. On the other side as soon as Jae Bum (defo my fav and even always loved this actor sm) stepped in that damn car, we never knew what happened to him like writers please?- we wanted to know how judicial stuffs went for him eventho it was clear he was in some serious sh*t with evil character dead now. Btw Oh Sung (I now recall "Evil character"'s name lmao) is defo not straight. I feel like writers pulled out this plotwist with this "I love my biggest enemy who is also my relative" trope to avoid having another queer character in the series. Why ? Because of his reactions (mainly jealousy) when Jae Bum was with other ppl (yet the same Oh Sung would deliberately abandons him for his friends as soon as he could) especially ML, Soo Heon. A precise example would be when he said "it was Wonseok (who at that moment of the series was allegedly Jae Bum's bf if we rely on what Oh Sung was saying) and now it's Soo Heon" as he was looking at the two of them from a classroom above with something in his voice that hinted he could be attracted to Jae Bum. Also when a moment in the series came that ML and FL went to Oh Sung's house to check out what he was hiding and saw several pictures of him and other 3 boys (Wonseok , Sejin and Jae Bum), I REALLY felt like it was some hints that he really liked Jae Bum (in a not sane way tho but you see..)

I loved all the characters and appreciated how they all had a background. A quick shoutout to Sooheon boi who caught a cancer only for plot's sake cuz wth ?. He successfully lived after all that eventho his head was getting banged throughout the whole show, he was fainting often and he was more likely to die but I assume it was for the show's sake-

So overrated, I won't recommand anyone to watch it...

So it's been since its release that I've wanted to watch it yet couldn't because I couldn't find somewhere to watch it... Now I've found a site and went on it.
What I can conclude is that it's really so overrated. Why ?
First episode, the story was somehow engaging yet very slow but since I've been watching series for a long time now I know that waiting until episode 2 can sometimes be worth it so I gave it a shot.
I was really disappointed throughout the whole watching down to the fifth one... FL could have gained my sympathy if she didn't went to sleep with a married man, her neighboor. I don't blame her for wanting to let herself live when she's getting cheated on by her 'husband', on the contrary ! But when you do exactly the same thing for what you blame your husband, I mean- She should have gone with someone single. Plus like I hate the neighbour and his wife since he was a douchebag to his wife, always looking down at her, ignoring her and even humiliating her in front of their friends and her was somehow shady, like she knew everything that was going on with Tae-Oh yet didn't want to tell Sun woo unless when it was at her advantage to leak the info. Yet nobody deserves that.

FL... I was rooting for her for like the two first episodes but then she started seriously getting on my nerves. She was doing too much back and forth moves in her 'revenge'. Like at some point it was just ridiculous. I get there are many things to think of and hard choices to make when you are planning to get divorced from your fake a** husband but when you act so dumb atp it's on another level. She decides something for her revenge's sake and then soon after pheww she forgets abt it more likely writers throw avenge ideas and then take them back and move on another overdramatic plot twist 'to keep us on edge'..

Then the son of the couple. He is so selfish... He knew everything yet let his mother suffer eventhough he could clearly see something was off. He could have discussed the things out eventho he is in middle school right ?

Tae Oh's friends straight to the bin. They badmouth him ? as good friends ofc (?) and like how can so many people know about him cheating and agree on keeping it a secret without actually trying to make Tae Oh come back to reason.

Also Tae Oh's mother is as twisted as her son. Not gonna spoil but bruh. Then another proof that Tae Oh is really messed up is that even on his relative's funeral, he went straight up kissing his mistress and all ?.

Shout out to the acting tho. The actors were very talented because I felt every single emotion they wanted to convey. I would even get very angry sometimes or frustratred lmao.

To conclude it could have been better with more elaboration. Also poor hyeon seo, I couldn't see how she ended up but Sun woo could have helped her way better. She started to do it then after I just felt like she was somehow using her for her own sake... I hope I just got it wrong because I really liked her.

I’m really disappointed !

Honestly I hate this series so much. The writing is so lazy. Many plot holes and incoherences especially in the medical field. For example, who would lay down a patient in their wet clothes at hospital ?? Another example would be the fact she was moving normally when she was supposed to have fractured ribs…

Soon as the series was announced to be, I was so excited because I love the genre (psychological/thriller) and Jang Na-Ra. First episode was good but with defaults. I tried to ignore them and gave the series another chance with the second episode because most K-dramas get very good from ep2. But no ! This was horrible asf !!

The female lead is unfortunately REALLY weak. I mean everyone would be vulnerable with all what’s going on in her life (being cheated on, stalked, mom that might have been killed by step dad) but she was being way too annoying always whimpering, making things before thinking about it…
I get she’s the bread winner and also doesn’t want her company reputation to get bad but at some point security matters ! She was being stalked for 7 years and didn’t even have bodyguards or any security system. What kind of nonsense is this ??? When she happened to learn about what was going on in her surroundings, she decided to take her revenge and I felt like the series could eventually begin but as always she disappointed me ugh ! She would for example litteraly tell her husband that is cheating on her about what she knows every time she gets angry ! Why ???? That’s really stupid right. Like plz gather evidence and just try to act cool until the moment has come oh gosh !
Another example would be her getting angry or just losing it in public, knocking like crazy at someone’s door because she thought her daughter was in there… She would also expose her best friend at a college former students get-together. I mean gurl who would do that to their best friend ? We all know what she did but you should have taken on yourself, stopped drinking or messing around trying to play the detective when you don’t even gather anything, until you have everything ready to serve them the revenge they deserve !

THAT’S WHAT I WANTED !

To end this review, just keep in mind the OSTs were the only good thing in the series. I dropped the series at the end of ep2. Even the comment section on Viki was bad especially at the beggining. Many were just being mysoginistic towards FL for prioritizing work over her family. But hear me out, it’s a really bad thing to not being able to manage the life-work balance but when women do that in series or irl stop calling them out because when it’s men y’all don’t point out and don’t come at them either…

It was meh for me. I would add this to my list of what I casually dropped.

I would add this to my list of what I casually dropped. Why ?

***
Months before the series air, I was already excited and thrilled to watch from both the summary and the concept/trailers but when the episodes started being released, I didn't start watching it right away until there was enough episodes released to binge-watch instead of waiting to watch once a week.

So on this day, there are 9 episodes out of the 12 annoounced that are already out so I decided to watch it.

The first minutes were "interesting" (let's say the 5 first minutes) then they started to get into the plot what should be good right ? Well no, because first, the group of friends that from what I understood were supposed to know each other for some time now ( two years or plus) were just so awkward to each other, even side-eyeing some so I was like wtf. Then the acting and the way it was filmed felt really cheap. I'm sorry if I'm being ruthless but that's how I felt.
I would've loved to have the nerves to go further in this first episode and more generally, in the series but they didn't managed to got me hooked. I don't think I would even give it another chance later...

Just for those who want to know, I watched 17 minutes into the series.
