Agreed that the rating should be higher. The writing, acting and production is pretty good! I think some anti-fans of the FL are giving low ratings without actually watching the show… and this is why I rarely rely on reviews.

I’ve seen so many gems that were rated belpw 7.8 and have been disappointed by shows that had 8.7+ ratings.

I usually don’t like the roles FL plays because I hate the drunken scenes and the tantrums her adult characters seem to engage in often… but her character here seems pretty likable.

I’m so frustrated with ep 19. Why are the writers dragging this out so much?

Episode 19 was so stressful to watch that I contemplated dropping. The show was fine and tolerable, albeit a bit draggy at times before. 😩

19 was just exceptionally poorly written.

The mom is so unreasonably uncultured and rude. I can’t stand flat and one dimensional characters like her. 🙄 It’s like the writers got lazy and decided the drama needed more conflict to keep it interesting, so they threw in a well-intended but ignorant and ride future MIL.

I think so. The scene in the end where she’s watering the azalea plant, her tummy looks a bit rounder. And they did sleep together.

The release schedule is really weird with large gap in the middle of the week where they don’t air any episodes. 🤷🏻‍♀️
