This drama was so good. I cried buckets but absolutely loved Tseng Ching Hua’s acting. He’s so good. Just wished there were more dramas with him! Edward Chen is branching out into mainland China but TCH mainly in Taiwan.

Decided to rewatch this drama since there’s a dry spell in c-dramaland having finished The Blossoming Love and Under the Moonlight. This is a fun, addicting, binge worthy drama. So many twists and turns. It’s an emotional rollercoaster. One moment you’re grinning from ear to ear, the next you’re in shock. Second time around is actually even more enjoyable then the first time because, you catch the details laid out from the beginning. The ML definitely caught my attention. Hoping he’ll get better roles. He’s so beautiful. 😍

Stumbled across this as I was looking for a low commitment drama. It’s been a pretty fun watch although the plot is really unbelievable.

Yes, very similar to Prometheus movie. The OT God and Jesus/ZM analogies are interesting but not exact because the Son knew his mission from God but ZM more forced.

If this drama could have a redo, I would have liked the last arc (HT and Tenet like) to have more substance and not leave my head spinning. Maybe allocate some of the Pearl/ZM plot to it.

I don't even remember the villain in Kill Me, Love Me. I just remember being bummed out because it just felt like they (the creative team) just wanted our protagonists to suffer for the sake of suffering and milking our sympathy tears.

It was shame because it started out strong.

He was creepy and obsessive but also pitiful. He spend eternity with her by his side when they Were both artifacts and exhibited no emotions. when she was cursed for falling in love, He willingly transferred that cursed to himself and for 10,000 to always seek for her love but never have her. In the latest lifetime, there was someone right beside him who loved him but he never considered. He eventually came to terms with his obsession and sought a bigger purpose at the end. I cannot speak for why others like his character but I’ll speak for myself. I found his character interesting because he did evil with selfish intentions but also good with selfless intentions. He was meant to have no emotions to sway him to favor any one party yet as the story unfolds, he experienced many emotions (without realizing it even).

I am not sure what SML syndrome is but I respect the actor WD for being able to portray TMX and NYX so well. Do I wish the Fl to be with the SML ? That would be strange as the love between her and XXC /ZM are solid.

Do I wish he suffer eternal damnation for he his evil actions against our ML? I always feel uncomfortable judging other because I myself am not spotless. At the end of the day, he did suffer and fated to end in eternal death. I mean, that's a pretty bleak ending.

In the what if world - she would still not accepted being a concubine regardless. She may or may not bump into either gentlemen. Buts it’s the interaction that drew them to her. In this world, I’m not sure how likely they would have had a chance to interact with her in the same scope and fallen for her.

Re: virginity - I thought that was a mistake made by what's her name (madame of Menke House). She was corrected that LS was reserved for the "master". Hence, she switched girls when ML went to the room.

Have you been watching her channel? I'm a bit surprised to see your comment that she gives all the false news and info. I've been watching her reviews since WOH (2020?) and I don't read Weibo so I cannot verify whether the release, dates, the cast, directors of the shows are accurate. They seem so when compared to Marcus. Regarding her reviews, she's very clear that it's her own opinion and preferences and not anyone else's so I respect that. She's also clear what kind of drama she likes and what she likes in them and what she's not interested in. So, I'm cool with it, too. I'm not a fan of any actor - yes, I enjoy good acting and beautiful faces, but at the end of the day, a good drama has many elements and she points some of them out.

Where would I Go to do that? I marked it on my list and assumed that it would automatically update on the review. But apparently not.
