I don't think the whole plot or story of FL's mother and father was necessary. I am skipping their parts in every…
I actually appreciate the focus on the side characters. This drama feels more “wholesome” for lack of a better word. I like how it’s not just about the main couple but we see interactions of the side characters. They’re not there just as tools to push the main couple together or apart. They have their own stories. Yes, the Shen males are a bit incompetent but watching the couples go about their conflicts, I’m hoping to see it grow and develop a little deeper than just surface level.
Of course the other impatient side of me wants resolution for the main couple but the story tellers are forcing me to go at their pace and not mine. Hahaha
Perhaps Guardians of the Dafeng or A Dream Within a Dream? They are transmigration dramas aired this year with…
Sorry it raised your blood pressure like that. I generally drop dramas that aren’t my vibe. Years ago, I sat through a film that I didn’t enjoy, thinking maybe it’ll get better…. I ended up angry for wasting my time watching it. So nowadays, I’ll check out a drama and drop it when it’s no longer enjoyable.
Yet again, people are downvoting a drama simply because it’s not their cup of tea. If time travel or transmigration…
Yes. It will Be a sad world when all idol dramas end up being cookie cutters of each other and completely predictable with perfect happy endings and perfectly moral ppl (unrealistic considering how imperfect we humans are) who make perfect “righteous” choices
I find this romance a bit uncomfortable to watch cause of the early kiss when she thinks he's her ancerstor. Marriage…
Yes - it’s portraying it as uncomfortable as you can see she very uncomfortable with it and her family too. So, if you had missed ep 1 2 min, and think like her, you’ll also be uncomfortable. Fortunately, we (the audience) know 100% that he is not her ancestor. But we can empathizes with her (who thinks he is her ancestor & fears ripple affects).
I've reflected on this, as have many here, but considering that the plot takes place in the Tang Dynasty (618-907,…
Yes!!! 👏👏 Excellently written. It’s sad to me how the quality. Of this show is overlooked for cheap thrills. (Maybe I shouldn’t say that). I love how the ending, they talk a bit about customs of ancient times. This requires research and additional work.
Director and screenwriters of this drama made quire a lot of high rated dramas in the past and I love all of their…
Also it could be because they aired while other very popular dramas are airing - fh and litc. It’s also not like the typical idol romance drama. So loses some audience.
i'm having a really tough time to sympathise with the mother.they all work the same hours.he gives most of his…
Their relationship shows one result when we neglect and don’t nurture our relationships. NEither one is truly listening and trying to understand the other.
