Is there or can someone provide a quick background on the ML and FL as they pertain to the previous drama? I couldn’t finish the previous drama because it was getting too sad.

Yeah..ssg was also very sad seeing all this from afar and not being able to be with him.

Yeah … I didn’t even bother finishing to double. Got silly and lacked substance towards the end for me.

Just rewatched the ending… still drew tears out of me as he aged. The music and past scenes as he reminisced were so touching.

I’m going to say they time traveled. The experience was real regardless of how they experienced it. Tale of rose and tiger is another one to ponder over the ending.

You can watch the farewell videos that the actors recorded to each of their characters… oh yea, have tissues ready. And the bts where lyn (ml) still completed his scene with an injured leg.

Lol…. I still remember the stack of tissues and weeks of lingering emotions from this drama. Heck, it’s been two years and I still come back here ever so often.

Yup. I’ve enjoyed ADWAD and YYY since then but still fond of AJTL

Yes, this was a great drama, pulled us along the ride and connecting with the brotherhood. I too loved Yu Shishan and ended up watching a few other Alen Fanf dramas (Les Belles is a light comedy).

Still picturing LY in his old age. Makeup artists did a fab job.

Goes to show how great the actors were. We fell in love with him and want to see MORE happiness for him. The ending is happy but we just don’t get to witness more of it. Wouldn’t it be nice to have an epilogue

You addition to the drama would have been nice. Even if the family wouldn’t remember him, he would enjoy seeing them

Yup - she even commented in ep 31…they don’t remember but how would they be so skilled at….. if they added traveled back and lived it.

Yea… LOVE LYR. Can never pronounce his name no matter how hard I try. It’s a tongue twister for me. Love his expressive smiling face.

Hahaha… This was a very welll done drama (in my book). I really felt for our ml. Love him to pieces and heartbroken with him. And her too. But more for him since he suffered so much. But he also had so much joy thanks to the family.

Probably because the acting was so good that we were deeply invested into our CP. we wanted more for the ML who suffered so many losses in his life.

I personally enjoyed it, even the agonizing romance.

Their love was so strong it outlasted space and time.

It’s not formulaic like that. It’s a slow burn. Their love for each other is evident early on and only grows deeper however there is a misunderstanding from the get go ( the same misunderstanding that ppl were agonizing over in this discussion group). It gets cleared up at the beginning of 31. Ep 31 is just packed full of happiness and joy for our CP. 32 may cause you to grab some tissues but will end on a high note with beautiful happy smiles because their love surpasses time and space.

I see it as their love was so strong that neither one wanted to forget it. He rebuilt the restaurant to remember her and just in case she returned. It is bittersweet. But I absolutely love how It ended with both of them remembering their experiences and with beautiful joyful smiles on their faces.

They will. And ep 31 will just leave you smiling from ear to ear.
