It is a great pleasure when the drama that you watch give you more than what you expected and that is what happen to me for this drama. At first I like it, then I'm not sure if I will like it more but then I fell in love with it. Come across this drama since everyone compare it with Immortal Samsara, I have watched that drama so I don't want to expect more but I'm wrong, it gives me more than what I expected.
Found the similarity with Ashes of Love in term of FL doesn't have 'feeling' and similar with Immortal Samsara for the mask vs bracelet. But aside for that it has more story that I didn't find in other Xianxia drama (my dictionary for Xianxia drama is very limited though). Twist after twist after twist makes my jaw drop and roll on the floor. I become greedy for the next episodes.
The misunderstanding story often frustrated me but you'll get in many other Xianxia drama, so I'm not surprise. Many people also hate FL voice who like 5 years old child but it didn't bother me, it became better as she grown.
Love and Redemption is true to the title, every character have it except, Si Feng!! Good God, he suffers A LOT!! He's a saint, an angel and a noble idiot but somehow I can't hate him XD (how can I when he looks so gorgeous and powerful! LOL) I really wish FL redemption for him will takes more episodes because he deserve it!! I wish we get more story of how they met for the very first time, and how ML fall in love with the FL and the reason why he wants to help her, so he just not like an angel sending by god to help the FL.
I also love most of the side characters, not really a fan of second lead couple but I love the MC interactions with Uncle Liu, Teng She, Monkey Spirit, Purple Fox and Mermaid.
The opening OST is telling about how it starts and ending OST telling about the whole story. The lyrics are beautiful but I only like couple of the songs. The setup of Heavenly realm similar with AOL, especially the stairs! The costume is beautiful. Ceng Yi looks more mature than he is in IS (I AM very surprise he is in 30's like he's not aging! I thought he's in early 20's!!) maybe because his costume and hair style. The CGI for his wing is OWESOME, I love every costume of him. The actress of Mrs Dongfang is beautiful, she's true to the title of the most beautiful woman in mortal realm and for the spirit goes to the Fox!
No wonder everyone keep talking about this drama and became one of the most Xianxia drama of all time. You got the heart wrenching story, the twist and the most satisfy ending. It became one of my all time favorite drama too.

I don't like the ending, not because is sad ending and you have to pay extra to get the happy ending (nice marketing though) but I don't like the type kind of Romeo Juliet ending. Ying Yuan sacrifices his life for the 3 realms coz Yan Dan won't exists if 3 realm gone and what she's doing next? .. Proceed to kill herself .. after all Ying Yuan did for YOU??!!!

I give it a shot because everyone recommend it. I'm glad I'm not that disappointed. I'm quite like it. actually I'm not really convince about how Yan Dan fall in love with Ying Yuan. I'm more convince about their story in mortal world how they finally fall in love again and I like Tang Zhou character better though and Ying Yuan became likeable after the mortal world.
The first teaser looks amazing. I often see Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee such a badass in their previous role but I'm really surprise Cha Eun Woo looks so badass in here, this is very different from his previous role.
Coming here just to promote Wu Lei other drama The Long Ballad. That drama deserve higher rating than this drama. I watch LLTG first then since I kind of like Wu Lei, I search for his drama and found TLB and I'm glad that I found it. I often frustrated of how stubborn the FL and ML are and I even love the Emperor and his consort more than the main couple XD I don't hate this drama, I actually like it, it's not horrible and I recommend to watch it but there are some parts of the story that I wish they make it better.

I think the fame of Love Like The Galaxy brought up this drama since Wu Lei and Lushi are in, but then they fall in love with this more, just like me :D
Comeback here again after re-watch it without skipping!! It's my habit to skip most of part when watching a very long episode of C-drama but then this drama can break my own rule LoL. The first time I watch it I fell in love, the second time I fell deep in love and curse myself why I skip some crucial scenes before!! I almost feel guilty for not liking Le Yan, I shouldn't have skip her part before. I think the most powerful of this drama is that every character has their own character grown up. The fatty guy is so funny, I see him in Love Like The galaxy and also love him in there, he's such a scene stellar.

The memorable scene that I remember is when the FL drink the liquor from his father just too proof that he's loyal to the king. The frustrated scene is when that sister stab the FL because she thought that the FL kills her father, like whaattt?????!!!! this girl is sooo stupid. How could she thinks that way with little evident and why she's not trust the FL more???? and she became the leader of the sect!! This scene just like throw out just to show how that flower works.
I like Lusi as FL, she's smart and love to eat but she's too perfect. I never watch Yang Yang drama, even though everyone seems love him and his role here doesn't makes me love head over heels to Hei Feng Xi.
This drama is like a mix between Palace conflict and Kung Fu world and I don't think I like it. Somehow it confused me because sometime it's not really related.
Overall, I just feel disappointed because everyone recommend this drama but I didn't get the hype.

Read somewhere tht Changge and Ashile Sun are real life person with a bit different name. Itâs true that Changge uncle kills her father and family. Too bad this drama doesnât really tell the reason. Seems like her father wants to kill his uncle but since her mother tip him off, his uncle can fight back first.
I have watched The Rational Life and I like the story because it's not mainly about romance. The gap between CL is about 20 years, I can see that the FL is older than ML but I'm surprise it is that big gap LOL but anyways, I find the CL is so cute there.
Seems like this drama similar to that, even though the gap not as big as TRL but my jaw drops for that steaming kiss O.O .. I don't know if I can watch this drama, still can't get over with The Long Ballad.
