At least she got a new title as General Gui Yue, which also has the character "Moon" in it.

Since in the drama version, she used a forged identity with the help of Liu Buwang, where are they gonna go with the plot if Xiao Jue or He Rufei investigate her identity and family records to confirm her identity. In the novel, they didn't find out about the transmigration because He Yan 1.0 and He Yan 2.0 have different faces and solidified family records. Are they gonna reveal her true identity as General Fei Hong in the drama version?

Well since 2015 novel adaptation is still going strong, and I don't think it's gonna decrease anytime soon. I'd rather have script writers writing their own original works instead of adapting and changing the novels too.

Since the story is now changed a bit, He Yan and Xiao Jue will be presented at the Battles of Mingshui. Xiao Jue would think that the person that he fought along side was He Rufei, not He Yan. He Rufei's sudden change of characters and testified that his father was responsible for their failure... Bruh, He Yan already got a lot on her plate, this dude wants to join Xu Jingfu (the Prime minister dude), and literally betrayed Xiao Jue using General Fei Hong's persona... Now He Yan had another problem from He Rufei, and need to resolve that misunderstanding 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ goddammit, He Rufei!!

Liu Buwang plot point got pulled over a bit for him to cure He Yan's blindness. I anticipated that much lol. So Lin Shuanghe's Divine Doctor character is gonna be Liu Buwang's instead. Cheng Lisu will be the person who is there at the scenes instead of Lin Shuanghe since his character's description on screen was Taiyuan Hospital 's disciple. In a bamboo house huh.. really curious on how Liu Buwang managed to pull He Yan out off the He Residence.

Ahh I see!! They changed He Yan 1.0's OG name to something else. I saw the script leaks online and her name is "何偃" instead of "禾晏". Even though they are pronounced the same, they are still different characters. That's why He Rufei's He is “何” instead of “禾” lol. So she will pick a completely different identity this time around. It's kinda ironic how "偃" means to fall on one's back, or to lie down.

Lmao after reading the script leaks, I got my answer on how they handle her "reborn" part to pass the censorship lol.

When she's in the White uniform, it seems like her sword is different from the Black Armor photo. It seems darker in comparison to the Back Armor photo. As the novel said, Qing Lan is her sword as General Fei Hong, and it's green in color. The black armor photo might be after Rundu since she will get Qing Lan back from He Rufei then goes to Jiu Chuan(?) I forgot the exact name, but yeah you get me lol, it's the place near Moxian. I saw Xiao Jue in the same scenes as her in White Armor, I thought it might be the final battle since her attire is really grand, but seems like it might be Rundu judging how she's not using Qing Lan. Well, only time will tell whether I'm right or wrong lol.

Really love the concept of the 2nd female lead became the actual heroine instead, and tries to correct her wrongdoings. It was one hell of a story if the censorship didn't get in the way, but still, the messages came across pretty well. I ended up liking it a lot more than I expected. I started this while waiting for Legend of the Female General, and I can't tell you how much the scenes in this drama triggered the scenes I read from LOFG's novel even though the drama isn't even out yet lol, well granted, the FLs are both played by Zhou Ye, plus the same transmigration plot. Maybe I just imagined and used those scenes as substitutes for the scenes from the novel a lot hahahah. (Heck, even just a servant bringing Hua Qian a bowl of medicine, I saw her He Yan drinking the medicine in Chapter 1 lol.)
