The Early Spring is very close to reality, perhaps even a little too close. Normalizing certain behaviors and…
Yep. I went through something similar. But instead of cruel remarks it was those passive aggressive ones that constantly tore me down. It took me four years to walk away. I never did the breakup and makeup shit. But once I decided to leave, I never looked back.
I hate Flora with a passion I never knew existed in me. 😅 maybe because everyone is siding with her or defending…
So I saw someone’s comment earlier about the flaw of this drama. The problem is that they changed Luke’s character but kept Flora the same. So her actions don’t make sense in the drama when in the novel her actions makes perfect sense because you read her thoughts and emotions. Plus Luke in the novel was an ass. Also the producers did cut out 8 episodes.
This relationship is whiplash inducing. From team Flora to team LN and back and forth again. Now I’m just like….these two are just crazy. Just break up already!!!!
Because they dont see him as a red flag, just a flawed person with ego, pride, fear and communication issues.…
No one is trying to impose their opinion onto others. It’s ok to have differences of opinions. We are all free to express our viewpoint so long as we do it respectfully. Both characters are certainly flawed. Or else it wouldn’t be a drama. I myself do find LN as a bit of a red flag because I’ve been there. Not the power dynamic, but the temper and possessiveness. For me it turned into some major stalking issues. So those qualities are a trigger for me.
Why are drama viewers making excuses for LN? LN was red flag. The story shows his character development. BUT HE…
Yes I’ve seen some comments saying SZT is the red flag. SMH…. LN has a temper and SZT constantly tip toes around him. Even at this stage in their relationship she never wants to impose on him. He is the one that basically set the rule. She’s already witnessed that he clearly doesn’t like clingy women hence the fact that she never asks for his help except for the dog. Probably because the roommates couldn’t watch him. Every time something big happens, he yells at her and apologizes, yells at her and apologizes. How the heck is she suppose to have trust in their relationship? That kind of relationship is exhausting. On top of that, LN is highly possessive. Frankly a possessive man with a temper scares the shit out of me.
Ok I’m just wondering how the heck they are going to make the breakup believable. In the drama they basically green washed Luke’s character. The redemption arc was awesome in the novel because Luke was such a red flag. It made the breakup all the more heart wrenching.
ok so i'm finally on episode 10, before i got here i kept seeing people complain about him keeping her "a…
In the drama she is the one who asked for it because sleeping with the boss would discredit any achievements that she would make. In the novel it is he who set the boundary of them being just bed buddies..
I am probably a minority here - I completed the novel and I feel like FL somehow trying to compensate for not…
Chapter 41 is when he outlined how their relationship is going to be just bed buddies. Also through out the novel , when she spends the night she sleeps in the guest room. It also mentions that aside from sex they don’t hug. Chapter 83 is when she asked him over the phone if they can have a normal relationship. He said “while feelings have changed, it’s not enough for him to date or consider marriage with her”.

Uhh did you miss the part that he made it clear that he only wanted a friends with benefit relationship? He even said so. After 4 years she told him that she wanted a more normal relationship with. He rejected her. I am so confused. Did we read the same novel? I can understand if you felt that way about the drama, but the novel he was an asshole.
While his actions are different but the shit that comes out of his mouth is still verbal abuse. Imagine being…
It will eventually bleed into their personal life. Because that is who he is. Although he is straightforward, he’s also arrogant, rude, and has a massive temper. That is the toxicity. Thankfully in the drama he’s learning to bend a little bit.
I think our tao tao is bad at talking …meanwhile our luan nian is sarcastic and upfront 🫠
Tao Tao is not bad at talking. She talks with her friends just fine because they are thoughtful and encouraging while her boyfriend has the tongue of an asp..
