i sympathized with him as well especially when i read his pov.i found his childhood worst than many characters .That's why i wasn't annoyed that much with all of his scheming . At the same time i hated him for sending YX to the Eldest prince .Yes he hesitated and had no opinion but that was worst than killing her .He might never loved her but she was the only close person to him .Even i think in the end her death hit him hard most.He realized that he won nothing. He will live in regret forever.

I read three novels of the author and i think this is the only novel where she gave so many well written emotional plot line to the side characters even if most of the side characters got BE.

1.no her soul transmigrated into another person's body who has same name with her.The original owner of that body died before the fl entered her body .

But in the drama they most probably will show that the fl was saved somehow or by someone because of their restrictions .

2.Some of her buddy died in the war.

In the novel Song Taotao's partner was He yunsheng ,Cheng Lisu was her ex fiance .They both had no feelings for each other .But in the drama Song Taotao's character is paired up with cheng Lisu because they removed He yunsheng.


Yes the sml likes the Fl .

As much as i like the main characters and was so happy for their ending ,I will not deny that i felt sad for some characters ending .

Chu Zhao's maid Ying Xiang
General Yan and his wife.

Also some of He Yan's buddy.
Even though Chu Zhao(SML) was annoying in some parts but his backstory was sad.He was traumatized after his mother's death ,at the same time he was the reason for his own ending .he choose the wrong way and lost everything .I felt the author wrote it like that to show the differences between him and the main leads.The main leads also suffered from many injustice but they never took any wrong way which can hurt the innocents.That's why they are the winner .
I also liked that the author gave proper storyline to every characters .

Xu Xiao Nuo played Xia Cheng Xiu(General Yan He's wife)

This novel was the author's first work so the writing was not good like her other novels so i think they are gonna make some changes

Apart from the main cp ,i liked the Side cp of the author's previous work even though they had short part .So is there any side cp in this novel ?

as for the ending it depends what ending you prefered.
If you are more focused on their character growth and journey then the ending will not disappoint you.
But if you are interested on the subplot ,For example the loveline between ML x Second Fl then you will like the ending but if you want a proper ending for fl in this case(be it with sml or third ml)then the ending is not satisfying .nowadays open ending has become a trend and most watchers are fed up with it.Though the novel had open ending but i find it better than the drama's ending.

I heard they changed him from a monk to only a king for religious issue but i dont know whether it is true or not
