i am not comparing any of them because they are not same type .
But yes everyone should watch a drama which matches with their preference .
I read TPOB novel 2 years ago that's why i started , TPOB is good adaptation till now especially they make the fl strong.It's not heavily romantic,their development is going slow but yes it's more about romance and family drama .
On the other hand ZHZ is more about revenge ,politics,mystery and adventure .I am not gonna lie ,I started it only because of XZ but i am loving the plot .actually i don't have a specific fav genre .I just want the writing to be good.

4 dramas are airing right now and among them i am watching only two, ZHZ and TPOB and enjoying both of them.
yes there are many toxic people but not everyone are same.there are many watchers like me who is enjoying both dramas.

Anyway please read the genre tags before watching the drama. It looks really childish that you rate a drama 1 without watching.

Some theory

As per the character relationship chart Su E Huang is the ex lover of Wei Bao ,Wei Shao's elder brother .You can see they didn't mentioned Mentioned which Wei and the maids assums that it is Weo Shao .I think it's Wei Bao because Xuan Lu said in the live stream that if Wei Bao didn't go to the final battle then her life wouldn't have so much hardship .Also making her his brother's fiance will create suspense .Because now the novel reader's couldn't tell what will happen with Su E Huang's arc.
Now there is a clip where it shows there a jade piece which is divided into two parts and one half is with Wei shao and other half is with Su E Huang .There was no such a part in the novel as far i remember .Even though Wei Shao was a jerk in the novel but after he married to Xiao Qiao ,He never involved himself with other woman or any past .So there can be a theory that the half piece is belonged to his elder brother and he kept it as a memory and SEH will use it to create misunderstanding .in the drama version if Su E Huang was her brother's ex fiance then the age gap between wei shao and Su E Huang is more than the novel version so it can be possible he was fond of her and saw her as a big sister and that's why he becomes embarrassed when his mother was talking about her.

I am talking it because otherwise it doesn't match with Wei Shao's character who is becoming loser in love for his wife ,didn't take any concubine but will keep things of other woman as if he has feelings for her.Then there will be no different between him and Wei Yan.

I didn't watched episode 13 but xuan lu herself said that her character is old lover of male leads elder brother and it was written in the character relationship chart .

yes i also heard that and I j think same too because here they most probably will show that she gets married with another man because of the death of Wei Shao's brother and in the novel it was different,the actress also said in the live stream that if ml's brother hadn't go in the war ,her life would be smooth without hardships . so here there is no reason for them to dislike her because she didn't abandon Wei family like the novel

in the novel she was wei shao's ex fiance ,they grew up together but after wei families tragedy she broke up the engagement and got married with another man .After his husband's death she came back again .

Here they changed the relationship setup ,Su E Huang of the drama version is the old lover of Wei Shao's elder brother Wei Bao

She called her Lang Jun and as far i know Lang Jun means husband or a title for a respective person
So I think that's why it is translated as "Lord " in translation .

yes she was bad and she remained same as per i remember and the grandma is good in both novel and drama

There will no Lin Shuanghe ,xu zhiheng,He yunsheng .They merged lin shuanghe into cheng lisu and also paired him up with song taotao and xu zhiheng was more like a helping hand of he rufei not like big villain or didn't had much parts like other fl's ex among the author's other novels ,for example -Fu Xiu Yi,Shen Yurong. so there wouldn't be problem if they remove him.In the drama version they most probably gonna make he yan getting killed by he rufei's hand(according to thr first trailer where it shows he rufei stabbed her)..But it's more like someone will save her and by changing this they can avoid the soul changing plot so that it can pass the censorship .

wow the villains looks interesting as well ,i heard they are looking for good actors for the villain roles who previously played side character but got praise for their acting skill.

Many viwers are already so hyped for the drama mainly because of the casting rumor .

i don't think the marriage will happen between the fl and ml's cousin .Because the cousin is not the ml lol 😂.the fl took another identity and becomes fiance of the ml's cousin but it's more look like she came like a spy to identify the truth behind her families death just like she approached the ml before for same reason and disappeared when she find him innocent .But we all know she will fall for the ml like every story .
But it's good the drama version has so many plots where the novel was full of nothing but misunderstandings.That's why i was confused at first when I read the synopsis of the drama because the plots mentioned in the synopsis didn't happened in the novel at all,even their first encounter is different 😂

Republicans drama without war plot is impossible .
if the melon becomes true then this drama would be linghe's first BE drama.🤧I am saying it because most Republican dramas with good stories gets BE .It would be miracle for me if it gets HE and nowadays they likes to change HE to BE even in normal dramas . the screenwriter is the author herself .She loves BE even if she changes the story in drama version .
