I can't say it will be flop but of course they will not follow the novel closely . Specially the tragedy of her past life.The death of her parents,her brother,her children.Also she took most of revenge by herself but if they show it like the novel then the ML will be not have much screen time in first 10 episodes so I am concern about that they will make her dependent on him,as it has only 36 episodes.

People may bring the double as good adaptation .Yes it was good but I said before that they rushed in many parts also they couldn't even show the story of the side cps, the author's side cps are likeable as well.they killed some side characters who didn't die on the novel.Even the ending was too rush.If it had more episodes then they could show it more perfectly.

Same thing can happen with this adaptation as well.But it can be good specially for who didn't read the novel .But it would be sad for people like me for not showing everything perfectly or if they cut my fav scenes.

They filmed lost you forever into 2 season where the novel has 51 chapters .If they can do it with LYF then why not with this novel?
People can wait for 1 year to get a adaptation which follows the novel at least 95% closely.

there was a part,it was chapter 170 where Pei Wenxuan went to the princess mansion but the guard didn't let him to enter then he heard Li Rong saying"Su Rong Qing hurry up be gentle"
.so even though they can't do that deed but they can be intimate in other way.But I don't think they will show these stuffs in the drama.
But I will not label it as cheating because Pei Wenxuan himself didn't label it cheating because they cleared that they are only allies,they can have whomever they wants.
The misunderstanding started as he was confused about his feelings then Li Rong felt betrayed and choose another man.

Yes the author's ML are not light that's why her male leads are dream man of many readers. And I agree despite being 30+ XZ matches with everything with the character .I would have want him if it was 2019/20 but now he is too much popular.if XZ was a Korean actor and if it was a Korean novel adaptation then it would have a chance . Because I saw many popular Korean actor actress to take second billed or to take a drama where the centre is not him/her.
But things are different for c-industry where it has become impossible for popular actors to play a FL centric drama and popular actress to play ml centre drama.If they casts them then they need to made the popular star as the center which would destroy the core of the story.

I also didn't want them to make the adaptation because I know very well they will Butcher the story to cover everything in 36 episodes.

I didn't watched the latest episode but in the novel she kicked him out of the bed on their second wedding night 🤣

I don't know if they really read the synopsis or not.its because they recently watched the double that's why they are comparing both dramas when they have different theme.

Even I don't think any drama can give the double's vibe except the author's other novel's adaptation as she has other novel's which has more better writing than the double's novel.IF those novel gets proper adaptation then they will love it more .

Both novel's has rebirth trope but the double is a revenge based and a big FL centric drama.

Where the princess royal has no similarities with the double in any way.

It's his character was like that in the novel.
In present life He always behaves like a playful 20 years boy not a middle aged guy which we saw in ep 1.


But he shows his skill when it comes to politics.
