She was paired up with Zhang Linghe in flourish in time,they have 8 years age gap.there were no romantic scene or skinship as she was a minor during the shooting But they had chemistry Also she was paired up with Chen zhe yuan as a guest couple in twelve legends,they had top notch chemistry.No one ever thought that they have 9 years age gap. And now she is already an adult .They both have no problem. They looked good in the trailer, it's not that people are forcing them to act together.🙄
When In real life many couple has a huge age difference and here some people get offended by the acting . I will say same thing if it was the opposite case .

If there were no misunderstanding then they wouldn't need a second chance ,the story would have been finished in 20 chapters. And yes they had misunderstanding in the past life but they both had faults in it.
