But I agree with LYX as Shen Miao specially after her performance in MJTY.
And they need to cast someone as XJX who is less popular than the FL as it's a big fl centric drama

Liu Haocun is good among the rising actresses but i don't think so she can be suitable as He Yan and she is mainly a movie actress and sometimes a movie actress can't handle when they suddenly get casted in a big ip and big length series.She did good job in derailment but that was a modern drama

They didn't wanted wang churan not for the reason that they didn't find her suitable ,it's because after her drama firework of my heart ,people hated her in everything,even started boycotting her other dramas

one thing i didn't expect CDL to have chemistry with ZLH.I mean i always felt she lacks chemistry with her co-star in her recent drama.But here even though they have least scene still they had chemistry.

they seemed to keep the rebirth plot as per the trailer...But maybe they will show the past life in another way , like a dream sequence or a story book(Like SOKP)...I prefer the story book rather than a dream.
Another thing can be possible that is rebirth plot in non-fantasy drama are not allowed but if they show it as a fantasy-historical drama then i think there will be no problem

i don't know about the topic related to the untamed but in 2020 i saw some comments on youtube saying he is homophobic while he is filming immortality and also read some comments there had been a fanwar between his and WYB fans long time before the untamed.I was a new cdrama fan that time so i don't know any details or what is true or false about this topic.His old fans can clarify it.But still this are not any scandals .

I finished the novel.
There are many characters in the drama that didn't existed in the novel.
For example there were no character like Hei Nian Ju,Feng Qi ,yes there were a character named Hong Luo who was FL's friend in demon realm but she had least appearance even there were no secondary CP. The novel is only focused on the main leads.I hope they won't downgrade the main cp because i loved their moments but it's annoying to see on weibo to compare two cp just because they don't feel the FL charming in xianxia drama.

But still it's kinda hard to imagine someone as XJX why did the author wrote him like that which made my standard high.
Another thing is all of the author's male leads are strong but their personalities are different.
But my top favorite male leads of her are xie jing xing and xiao jue,
