They included many highlighted scenes of these two in the trailer bcz they has more parts than others.
I liked three MLs differently .I shipped XY most with Xuan(I know I am among the minority),My fav Character is Xiang Liu but I choose Jing as my dream guy.
But obviously Xiang Liu has more chances bcz his character design is best among all leads. following by him the second one can be Qiang Xuan.His character is both good and bad and most complex.Yes acting matters the most and I like Zhang Wan Yi's acting most but when the drama will air everything can be changed.Just like the 4th male leads character was not so important ,his charcater was hella annoying to me. but it seems in the drama they will add extra scenes to him.Also When the trailer released many watchers seems to like his appearence more than others.

Writer added some extra scenes to all characters that's why it took six months for filming.I only wants that every character should be well written like the novel including the villains.
Some mini war already started between some of ZWY fans & JCT fans,also they have more fans than other MLs specially JCT.Just hope they don't go too much😅

Yes this series is prequal to Mirror twin cities The fl of mirror twin cities is the descendent of shi ying and zhu yan.
Also the ML of mirror twin cities appears in the novel "Zhu Yan" when he was a kid but don't know whether they will include this character here.

Funny thing is that Zhang Ling He and Chen DuLing are a pair in Fox spirit and the matchmaker:Yue Hong but here she is playing as Gong Zi Yu's mother.I hope her scene will be with the little Gong Zi Yu not with LingHe.I know it's their profession but still it will be weird for me to see them as mother & son😅😅😅

It was her destiny to be Xiao Yao that's why the filming didn't start in 2013.No offence but I am kinda glad it didn't happened.Bcz as a novel fan she is the perfect XY for me.

yes he is rumored to play Ci Jing Lan. who is ML's big bro. I hope he takes this bcz the character design is good.This character originally was the second male lead in the novel but according to the latest rumor in the drama they upgraded Cha Shuo Xun's character as second ML,i think the reason is Cha Shuo Shun's character is more complex and has different layers than Jing Lan .But both character design is good even though Cha Shuo Xun is a villain.Just hope they won't pair them with any supporting female characters.

I want to clear a thing that many people are thinking Tu Shan Jing's character is similar with XIao Lin(Deng Wei's character in TTEOTM).
But their character has many differences atleast who read the novel they know very well.Yes they boths are gentle but their thoughts are different.Xiao Lin can compromise everything for his country where Jing can left everything for Xiao Yao.They boths are forgiving but no one is comparable with Jing in this quality even in some parts i was mad at him that why he have to be soo good.
There is a line that refers his character- "The world kisses him with pain but he replies it with a song"
Another thing is Xiao Lin can be called as white moonlight but Jing can be selfish when it comes to Xiao Yao which is not bad lol😂
I myself prefer grey characters over green flags(in costume drama) but he is the first green flag character whom i liked the most.

i don't even know which character she is playing.I started watching the anime there are many FL characters but not so important and i will not like if they change other two mls love line and pair them with any supporting fl characters

He is obviously not the best ,need to learn more before playing a ML.But I am agree with you in everything except that he is best only in cold character. he can act different characters.He played cold character in "miss the dragon",but in "sassy beauty" he played two different character at first a butler who don't talk that much bcz he was not a human then a gentle,cheerful xiao li and in "I am the years you are the stars" his character was a spoiled brat, manupulative ,but i enjoyed his acting in all of them .But don't know what's wrong with him in The Journey of Chong Zi & TTEOTM, i was feeling something off with him .Don't know if he was nervous for playing first time a character in a S+ drama that's why he couldn't control some expression or not,I only liked his crying parts.
Anyway I agree he better to stay away from S+ drama not a supporting character as well.
Playing ML or SML in a low budget drama will be better choice for him
