However, the story was ... hmm ... complicated. It didn't make sense most of the time and when it finally did, it just wasn't worth the two hours plus that were wasted watching it. Some of the mature scenes were, I guess, there to make it more edgy, but, for real, there were just unnecessary. The action scenes were okay and the visuals really nice, but they seemed to focus more on them than the story, which was just thinly spread through this lengthy film.
So, overall, two out of ten.

The innocent feel of it was interesting and adorable. The couple was actually nice together and had chemistry, which helped a lot with the story. Theweb drama however was too short for the drama that they added towards the ending. The love triangle was kind of half baked as well.
But the performances were good from all the actors and actresses in the web drama and most of the pacing was well handled.
So, seven out of ten.

has some Reply vibes, though they didn't focus on the representation of
the past and it's trends, rather than the story of a high school girl
and her friend, the new girl at school. The romance was pretty good,
with the love triangle having a nice conclusion. In addition, the
performances were good and they added with the progress of the drama,
though the drama started a bit slow. Finally, the 8 episodes length was
just enough for the story. So, 7 out of 10.

The main character was interesting, first of all, and probably the highlight of the drama. Her story was entertaining and original, until they added that cliche twist in the end. The romance was kind of weak too, as the two didn't have much chemistry and the love story didn't have a smooth pace. They just had a moment and that was it? Still, this was Eun woo's best performance to date. He was confident and he handled the dramatic scenes better than his other drama's. The other performances were good too.
So, overall, six out of ten, because the drama got boring and predictable.

For what I liked :
The performances were excellent in all the short films. IU is proving to be a great actress, shading away the idol persona.
The second film was the best for me, although the ending was confusing. The third and fourth were okay as well.
The cinamatography was amazing in all of them
But, there were some facts that I can't overpass:
I did not enjoy the first one, as it was either too deep and I didn't get it, or too wierd.
The stories were kind of wierd full stop.
The final one, even though it was interesting when it came to the camera work and the idea, it was boring.
The second one was gorish unecessarily.
So, four out of ten for this project.

What I liked was the background story. As a fan of melodramas and tragic stories with characters that overcome their past and become stronger than ever. And yes, that background story was there, but the current story line was weak. First of all, for a drama called secret boutique, with the main character being a designer, we hardly saw desinger action. No clothes were made, no attelier, just the leading lady dressing smart. Her solving rich peoples' problems was mostly restricted to some people close to her family.
So, the main story was predictable and uninteresting. The main character was way too unemotional. The love triangle was a bit unnecessary too. But, the past story was solid and pretty much original. The performances were good too.
So, overall, six out of ten.

Arthdal Chronicles Part 1: The Children of Prophecy

So, the whole setting is magnificent and the cinematography is amazing. The costumes and make up were top notch as well. I don't really like the way they divided the series into three seasons though, as it didn't make sense and they didn't concluded the first season smoothly.
That said, the first episodes presented the whole arthdal universe. However, they should have made a better job with it, as it was not easy to understand it and it takes a while to remember the characters (part of the three main).
Overall, the three main characters were the best part of the drama, in addition to the cinematography. They were interesting and well presented. The performances were excellent as well.
So, seven out of ten, because the story hasn't even progressed yet.

So, the first part of the drama was really tiring to watch. We were introduced to the characters and the main hero's past story and abilities. And then, the drama jumps into the future, where the two leads meet again, under different positions this time. The development of the romance took place during that time. But, the romance was weak and didn't have the strong vibes that it needed to keep the interest high.
The best part was when the mystery started being revealed. The serial killer and the backround stories were interesting and entertaining. However, to reach that point you have to go through the boring first part unfortunately.
Finally, the performances were good, especially from the second lead.
So, 4.5 because this drama could have been really good, but the execution didn't help it thrive and it just ended up being another boring drama.

Good Enough
Korean Drama '' Queen Woo '' is a historical drama with a focus on the political scene of the time. The drama has a strong female lead whom we see bloom into a leader despite her gender and those against her. Her fight to establish herself was interesting to follow, as she is canning and understands how to masterfully manipulate the palace politics. The more tender storyline with her and her husband gave her another dimension to her character.
However, the ending was anticlimactic, with the upcoming final battle never coming and the season-ending kind of open, with an unluckily second season on the horizon.
Still, the performances were great and the cinematography was impressive.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

Korean Drama "The World of My 17 Season 2" changes cast but leaves things unresolved.Keeping the same youthful, cute vibes, the second season of the web drama that explored the friendship between high school girls, takes a new approach, this time navigating the school politics and a school-themed love triangle.
The drama was light and adorable, keeping things simple, though it was implied that some characters had a darker background that had to deal with. Still, these subplots were not explored, leaving the viewer guessing what were their motives and their stories. Plus, the ending was also an open one, with those subplots being broadcasted, but not explained, adding more to the speculations for a third season.
Still, the drama is enjoyable, ending aside. It is short and entertaining and has feel good vibes. Also, the performances were decent by everyone in the cast and all of them did a good job portraying their characters,
So, overall, 6 out of 10.

Korean Drama "Happiness" is a dystopian drama that feels, nevertheless, close to home. The drama doesn't focus too much on the horror aspect, with the zombie-like disease, that could have been easily overused with loads of gory scenes and bloodbath.Rather, the drama opted for a more character-centric story, with the focus being maintained on the neighbors and their dynamics when a crisis hits home. The addition of the corporation mystery, along with the family drama, were all a nice touch that added more twists to the main plot.
However, the drama missed making the conclusion clear, or more dramatic. Everything was actually too conveniently solved when everyone was straggling to come to a conclusion all throughout the drama. Also, the drama felt like it was missing something, like the story needed something more to leave a bigger impact.
Nonetheless, the performances were great and aided the entertainment value of the drama a lot. The CGI were also well made.
So, overall, 6.5 out of 10.

Korean Drama "Idol: The Coup" was, surprisingly, a really good idol drama. The music was great, the drama just enough. and it wasn't overburdened by any romance. Rather, it was friendship-focused, with sweet dynamics between the girls and nice progress when it came to their struggles on becoming an idol group with another hit. The ending was bittersweet and unexpected as well. And, even though most members of the cast are idols, all the performances are great and quite emotional. Maybe they even gave their own flare to the drama too.
In addition, the pace was excellent and the drama managed to wrap up everything in just a few episodes without missing anything. However, the ending needed more time to be properly presented nad it did feel overstuffed and rushed.
So, overall, 8 out of 10.

Korean Drama " Hello, Me! " had an interesting story that is not encountered often. The fantasy- time travel element was handled nicely, the family drama was quite impactful and the character development on point. However, the drama didn't manage to leave a mark and it's quite forgettable. The story, first of all, centers around Ha Ni, who's the complete opposite of who she was when she was a teenager. And, even though the reasons why she turned out to be this way were there, the drama failed to explore them properly, though her family drama was strong and supported masterfully by everyone in the cast. The romance, moreover, was slow, a bit silly at first, and was often left out, set aside so that the slice of life will be more on focus. Also, the love triangle was more enjoyable for the bromance rather than the romantic vibes.
In addition, the relationship between 17-year-old Ha Ni and 37-year-old Ha Ni was more like a mother-daughter than between two people of the same person. But that can be easily overlooked, as the slice of life genre often took the lead, with some heartwarming stories added here and there to enhance the main story and older Ha Ni's character. Also, the character development was just perfect, smoothly done and excellently handled. But, the ending was predictable and felt lukewarm.
So, overall, six out of ten.
