ok, who is with me thinking mother is the one who actually killed their parents? π€·ββοΈ
Me 100%! I've been thinking that ever since it was first revealed, when they found their parents information in Ruerat's safe. I don't know how Mother would have done it, but that felt way to planted to me. Based on the flashback he would have killed them years ago, so why would he have that randomly in the that safe.. It felt way too convenient.
extremely confused by gun forgiving yotha kissing someone else because... he kissed him too? what a poorly written…
That's how I felt too. I'm really hoping that they actually talk about this before their kiss in the next episode. In my opinion it's going to be really weird if this just goes away without a talk, especially with how upset Gun was about it.
I personally preferred this version to the Thai version and not just because Nagumo Shoma is freaking gorgeous…
Completely Agree! I loved the Thai version, but if I had to pick I'd pick this one. I do wish they'd gotten a slightly longer runtime because I feel like FumaKai's storyline needed a little more time. Otherwise though, I really loved this version!
I feel like in the original they were just showing his habit remember Prapai is a big time player and old habits…
Yeah that's very true and would make alot of sense. I never thought about it that way. I actually dont mind Kai's acting in this. While the character is being portrayed differently than how he was in the Thai version, I feel like the way he acts is very realistic to how someone may act if they'd gone through he trauma he had. Especially when he has memories or when he sees his ex again. I personally thought he acted those parts very well. But I know everyone is different so I can definitely respect and understand not everyone liking his acting. I do agree about Peat. I felt like his crying scenes in LITA were awkward, but I feel like that whenever an actor has a crying scene and there are no tears. Not sure if this is true, but I remember seeing someone say in the original book Sky can't cry.. so if that is true that may explain why Peat doesn't actually cry as Sky in LITA.
I really liked that they made Kai seeing his ex the reason for him distancing himself again instead of it being him seeing Fuma with someone else. I wasn't really a fan of that in the original because I never understood why he would sit down and sort of be cuddly with that guy before turning him down, but thats what they had to do in order for Sky to misunderstand. I just feel like this fits better.
However, having that happen before they get intimate for the second time feels bassackwards only because they didn't change the dialogue.. Having Fuma find Kai's notebook where Kai admits his feelings and then having them get intimate where Fuma still says "I don't want just your body, I want your heart too." just doesn't make complete sense. He's already told Kai I love you and based on what he read in the notebook he would know that he kind of already did have Kai's heart.. Unless I'm remembering wrong, which is very possible cause I have a terrible memory, but I could've sworn it happened opposite in the original.
As I knew it would, Kai's feelings happened way too quickly in my opinion. I knew it would because of their very limited run time, but it was still disappointing. In my opinion, because of Kai's deep trauma from his past we needed more moments of Fuma caring for Kai and showing his feelings are genuine, before Kai trusting him and falling can be believable.
Putting that aside though, I'm really loving this version. I love both the actors and these couples so much, which is one of the reasons why I get so disappointed they weren't given a longer run time. However, I really love how they've mixed the stories a bit instead of just doing ArashiRei and then FumaKai. I didn't mind that in the original, but I think I actually like this a bit better. I just hope they have a good flow from storyline to storyline for the rest of the episodes. With two major events still needing to happen, the Rei kidnapping clearly happening next, I'm worried it's not going to have good pacing and will end up feeling choppy..
As I feared the FumaKai storyline is progressing way to quickly! I knew because of runtime the pacing of both stories would be rushed, but this was to much too quickly for their storyline. I'm trying my best to not compare it to the original, but in this case I can't help it. Him already opening up to Fuma doesn't really bother me cause even in the original, despite not wanting to, he was becoming happy with certain things that Prapai would do. It's a little faster than I would have liked, especially given his history, but it didn't bother me as much. In my opinion though, it is way too soon for Kai's ex to already be showing up. In the original, it happened after Prapai had broken down his walls and after they had been together for a little bit, so he felt at least a little bit of confidence in their relationship. He had been shown over a decent course of time that Prapai was someone he could trust not to treat him like his ex did. However, in this version for his ex to show up after they only barely started talking and having only been in each other's presence a couple times, seeing his ex would remind him why he's scared of getting close to someone again and why he doesn't want it. It would close him back off and he would start avoiding Fuma again.. We still have four more episodes so I don't understand why they felt the need to already bring his ex back into the picture already. I'm kind of hoping this is a dream, but I highly doubt it partially because of the runtime of the series. I personally am still really enjoying this series though, and I'm interested to see how their story is going to go with the ex already being a part of it.
I agree with you. I personally am loving this version! It has obviously been a bit rushed because of the runtime,…
Yeah, whenever I read through the comments after an episode it feels like 90% of the people commenting hate the series. Which is completely fair, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but it feels like every episode there are so few positive comments.
What the heck..Why all writing negative about thisThis series is good as original and nc scenes great too everyone…
I agree with you. I personally am loving this version! It has obviously been a bit rushed because of the runtime, but I loved Arashi and Rei's storyline so much and think the two actors who played them were the perfect choice! I was a little surprised that they didn't include the kidnap storyline and it made the ending with that side character feel kinda abrupt, but other than that I loved their storyline. I can't say much for Fuma and Kai yet because we've only gotten one episode, but I've liked them so far. While they don't have the same level of chemistry as FortPeat, yet at least, I think they are doing a good job so far. I'm a little nervous they won't be able to tell this storyline well in runtime we have, but I'm not judging yet cause again it's been one episode.
Yeap I was looking ajs answer to your question as well. π€¦π»ββοΈ
Yeah that's what I had planned to do. I hadn't checked MDL to see how many episodes it was going to be so when Netflix dropped the first 6, I thought it was the whole series.. It wasnt until I watched episode 6 and it showed a preview for the next episode that I realized there was more π
best series I've seen in years....I cried a lot at the end!......I don't usually like these 2,3 4 5 even 6years…
The filming crew scene was to show Qi Lu was able to follow his dreams and became a director. That was him directing a scene for whatever he was working on.
just saw on twitter jojo said that the script for the ending scene originally had fadel just lying in bed smiling.…
First off, I love Joong for this! Second, Joong is definitely right. For some reason Fadel sitting there smiling while thinking of Style just doesn't fit to me. He's mostly been annoying Fadel so far π I think a sexual fantasy makes more sense, especially because of what happened in the sauna.
First, I just gotta say episode 9 was amazing!! I loved it so much. I adore both couples and just want to wrap them up and keep them safe. Second, I am trying so hard to be optimistic about happy ending.. With everything all four of the main characters have gone through, I can't see how a sad ending would be good for this series. Some series have a sad ending and, despite me hating sad endings, it makes sense because of whatever was happening in the series. In my opinion though, for this series a sad ending just doesn't fit.. for either couple. All four of them have gone through so much pain and sadness and have found happiness because of each other, so to end this sad for either one would potentially ruin the series to me.. So as I said I'm trying to be optimistic that is going to be happy, but the flash forward of the potential future for Qi Lu and Qin Xiao scared me and put me on edge.. It gave off the 'what could have been' vibes.. I'm really praying I'm wrong because the series is phenomenal and all of them deserve happy endings!
I'm really hoping and praying for a happy ending! I'm so terrified it'll be a sad ending, I'm really hoping I'm…
Yeah we will definitely suffer, but I could see it going either way for both couples. Despite the multiple reasons Liu has for not waiting to date Tan, he still fell for him anyway and I could easily see them struggling with those reasons but overcoming them. Same with Qin Xiao and Qi Lu. His dad is definitely going to be a problem and I feel like he is going to find out and definitely will try to separate them. However I feel like Qi Lu is eventually going to break and not take any more of his father's crap. At least that's what I'm hoping for.. Other circumstances may also get in their way, but I feel like they would try to fight to be together. I don't know.. I'm trying to be optimistic because, and maybe this is wishful thinking, I get happy ending vibes from this series. I'm scared it'll be a sad ending, but I get more happy ending vibes then sad.. Maybe that's just me though.
I love this series so much! I can't with Arm though π I can't believe that after Arc's comment saying that he wanted to flirt with him a little longer, that Arm still didn't get that Arc liked him.. Then on top of that, it still took till the end of the episode for him to realize despite the multiple moments where Arc made it so obvious! How can somebody be this dense π I'm glad that Arc finally came right out and said it, even kissing Arm, because I feel like that is what it was going to take for him to understand π Sand as well though!! Unless they are already together and are keeping their relationship on the down low, when Po mentioned that both of them are finding partners even Sand acted surprised by it! Despite how obvious Sand and Pond seem to be to me about how they feel about the other person, somehow Sand can't see it! The way they look and smile at each other is enough to see the feelings they have for the other! I can't with them, they drive me crazy! In a loving way though βΊοΈ I am loving this series so much π₯°π₯° Both ArcArm and PondSand are super adorable together, the friendships are so good, and there are so many hilarious moments! It's fantastic so far!
