Considering how the Cn censors work, in order to meet their no-homo needs, some stuff would have to have been…
So, so far nothing has been cut from the series? I’m only asking because a comment further up said that it’s sad it’s being cut because it had so much potential.. I’m just a little confused right now lol.
It's so sad that the series is being cut. It had so much potential and the MLs had amazing chemistry I was so…
Wait, so are the episodes on Gaga cut versions? I loved the first four episodes and was excited when I heard this was finally getting released. I didn’t hear anything about it being cut for censorship… If so, is this a BL or a bromance now? Only reason I’m asking is because based on what I saw in the first four episodes originally, I don’t see how they could possibly turn this into a bromance.
I totally agree with you! First even I found Arc a bit irritating but seriously towards the end I felt some butterflies…
Right, same! I was so happy and excited when they got paired because they are both fantastic actors and I knew they'd be great together! It's gonna be torture waiting, but I feel like it'll be worth it 😊 I completely agree, it feels totally different! Especially if you compare how he acted after they got together in My Only 12%. He acted very cutesy with Eiw after they got together, but again it is different to what we see with this character Gun. I'm definitely super excited to get to their storyline!
I loved this first episode, it was a great start to the series! I'm loving all the characters and interactions we’ve gotten so far and I love that we are getting each couple separately. It makes more sense story wise and will keep things cohesive. I am going to die waiting for PerthSanta though. This series is so hilarious and I’m loving everything about it. Arc was irritating me just as much as he was Arm in the beginning, however I can’t lie he grew on me. By the end of the episode I was laughing at his antics and now I love him! I can’t with him though 😆 He clearly already likes Arm, but he is loving teasing him too much! I saw a lot of other comments not liking the amount of episodes, but for me personally I actually love that this is going to be a longer series. As long as it’s written and paced well, I think this could be a great series!
I adored this series so so much!! I legitimately already want to rewatch! This series was the definition of wholesome and sweet and is definitely going to the top of my comfort-watch series 🥰 They did such a phenomenal job with this series! I just love that this started off as just two lonely people finding solace together and forming a beautiful friendship. The fact that it then turned into one of the best slow burn series I've seen was a beautiful upside. I don't know.. there is just something really endearing about Isumi falling so hard for Amasawa and Amasawa being so clueless and making it worse 🤭 Especially considering how obvious it is to the viewer how much Amasawa adores Isumi. I'm honestly surprised it took him so long to realize, but it definitely made for a beautiful story! I also liked that there weren't really any of the normal BL tropes that you see in series, other that the typical 'trip, almost fall, catch, and stare'. There were a couple of misunderstandings, for example one episode early on that Isumi thinks Amasawa has a wife and kid, however the series did a good job of resolving it quickly. Overall, this was a fantastic series and one I'm really going to miss 🥺
I finally gave in and watched this from a wonderful fansubber who I am now eternally grateful to because this series was as amazing as I hoped it'd be! This was such a sweet series and I adore both of the main characters! I thought this had the perfect balance of humor, sweet moments, and drama. As well as showing us the harsh reality that people can face. I don't usually like the 'I'm pushing you away for your own good' trope, however I feel like this series is an acception because I can completely understand where Mitsuya is coming from. It should still be Ishida's decision, but I found it impossible to be irritated at Mitsuya for the choice he made. I will say, the prolonged running scene in the final episode did make me roll my eyes a bit, but I'll forgive them because Ishida's speech was beautiful and their make up scene was adorable 🥰 I may be alone in this, but I thought it was so endearing that Ishida's stomach interrupted their almost first kiss 🤭 I have never been one to care if a series has kiss scenes or not. To me it is far more important that the actors portray the emotions and chemistry well, which to me they did. I would've liked a kiss scene, but to me I thought that scene was perfect and fit the series well. As I said I loved this series so much and highly recommend it! Now I'm just hoping the series gets picked up somewhere to officially be subbed so I can rewatch and support the series more.
I have subscribed to a couple of different services and when a show airs in Japan, but no official service picks…
That's very true. Plus if I really like it and it ever did release internationally, I could always rewatch it. Thank you, this really helped me feel better about this 😊
I freaking knew that it was all a misunderstanding! This is why people seriously need to talk to the one the rumors are about before jumping to conclusions and running away! Should Sun have told Lin about the deal he made with Allie instead of being secretive, yes 100%! However, Lin should not have immediately believed the rumors without talking to Sun first to see if he had an explanation. Miscommunication is a trope I can't stand so I can't help that this really irked me. On a different note, I really love Lin's family. His dad does annoy me a tad, but he clearly just has his son complex so it mostly amuses me. I absolutely love his grandpa though! Sam and Yo got together 🥳🥰 I love those two so so much and of course their confession and kiss, which I was not expecting, was so adorable! I will never get over these two and I swear it should be a crime that they get such few scenes 🥺 They seriously deserve their own series cause they are so freaking cute! Lot gonna lie I wasn't super invested in the GL couple, but after today's episode I am really like them. The look into Prim's view of everything that's happened really helped sell me on this couple because now how she's been treating Pim makes so much sense. Though I was not at all prepared for them to kiss already! I really hate that it took this long in the series for this to finally come to light, if feels like they dragged this out a little long, but I regardless I'm more interested in their story now. Despite everything I've liked though, I still just don't know how I feel about this and that's once again because this was supposed to mostly be about these mysterious dreams and past life and once again we got like 30 seconds of it. The reason why it irritates and bothers me so much is because honestly, it feels like I'm watching a series and then randomly a scene from a completely different series will show up. With it rarely being talked about or brought up, it feels so jarring when it finally does happen. I mean seriously in the 9 episodes we've watched I think we've gotten maybe 20-30 minutes of this plot line.. Which makes no sense considering again this is what they made it seem like the series' main plot was going to be.. Maybe with these last couple episodes that will finally have a prominent place in the episode. Who knows though, honestly I've kind of given up on it at this point.
The kind of classes he's in , the clubs, the part-time work at a bar plus lack of a uniform clearly indicate university
I completely agree. Even with the dialogue from that scene it's very obvious that he is in university not high school. I mean like you said he works at a bar and on top of that they got alcohol when they went out to eat, though it was his friend that ordered it. To me it seems very clear so I don't understand the confusion either, I just mentioned that scene cause I feel like Neil asking that might be why people are assuming. At first, I did find the dialogue odd in that scene though because I feel most people, if asked if they are in high school, would clarify they are in University? However I saw someone say on reddit say he did say university sophomore, so I'm not sure why Gaga didn't translate it fully.
sophomorea second-year university or high-school student. Why are ppl jumping to conclusions Sea is a high schoolerHe…
I think part of the problem might be that Neil asked him are you in high school and all he replied was "I'm a sophomore". I assumed he meant University, but he didn't specify that in the series. At least that's what the translations said when I watched on Gaga.
One reason WOMEN IN BL SUCK. PERIOD.I can count with one hand, the non lesbian, women who are not horrible, annoying,…
I know, that is one thing that I find so annoying. I wish we could get away from the toxic, crazy, and annoying women in series that are usually used to move the plot along. Its like seriously, you can't find any other way to move the plot forward without a female character like that 🙄 Thankfully it seems more newer series are starting to less female characters like that.
I'm having such a hard time continuing this. Every time I think 'I needs to catch up on episodes' I just can't find the interest. I've watched up until episode 5 and I didn't hate it, but so far it isn't what I expected.. While it is a new setting, personally I don't really care much about the jewelry business part. I got into this series because I was interested in the mysterious dreams / possible past life, but they've barely touched on it and it seems like, based on comments, that's continued with the last three episodes. The only thing I've really loved so far is Sam and Yo, so I've been tempted to watch just their scenes, but sadly they don't have much screen time..
I finally got around to starting this series and I'm so glad I decided to watch it. I've only watched one episode so far, but it's already so hilarious 😆
