The more exciting plot points take a while to come, but this story is as much character-driven as it is plot-driven. A lot of time is spent in Qingshui Town to establish characters and the themes. I think with all that is to come, the peaceful early episodes were nice to rewatch for contrast.

Could be as early as Jan/Feb, but who knows. S1 has a nice complete story arc (although there are some unfinished story plot points), so it’s still satisfying on its own.

S2 not aired yet, probably not until next year, but no one is sure when

Yeah those early scenes bothered me, but later on you’ll understand why he is the way he is given his past.
