Not sure why this drama is rated so low because the story is flowing pretty well so far after watching 5 episodes. It took me a while to get through at first due to the dubbing - I've heard these voice actors so many other times for other actors, and it's just jarring. But the story is engaging so far. I'm not yet sold on the chemistry between FL and ML, but I'm going to wait and see. I trust Ding Yuxi in particular to bring it as his character (hopefully) grows and matures.

I watched only the first half, which was helpful to at least get the idea of what’s going on, but I think it was all the tragic stuff in the latter part of LIP that made Hongye the way he is now. I just didn’t want to watch all of that at the time.

Lots of rumors, no official news. Some say filming is done, some say there are reshoots or pick up shoots to be determined. We’ll just have to wait and see. I wouldn’t worry too much; I highly doubt iqiyi will just forget about this drama.
