These rich and powerful, no matter what era, have always considered common people as disposable tools. Zang Hai represents all of us, fighting for a chance to live a respectable life. Can't wait to see these poops get what they deserve.
The tonal shifts in this drama can be jarring (between comedy/drama), but the dramatic moments in ep 4 were spot on for me. Getting help for alcohol dependence or abuse is never easy.
Haven’t seen/heard anything about the 20th, so we’ll see.
To be fair, nothing was ever announced that there would be anything on the 20th, there were only rumors. The 17th was the only confirmed date per DW's official fan club.
I was afraid at the halfway mark, things would start to drag or sag as they often do. Glad to see more depth to all the characters, including supporting ones.
So they really started officially shooting yesterday after the "Blessing Ceremony"!Today also has shooting schedule…
If it's too stressful and dismaying, probably best to take a break, but don't stay too far away, I love chatting with you and all of DW's fans that I've met since LYF aired. :)
I like to be surprised, so hopefully all works out for the best and I am happily surprised by the finished work. My best wishes to the cast and crew! All the best to Deng Wei, in particular, who I'm hoping in particular gives another fantastic, layered performance as Yin Gezhi.
