I see rumors of this drama starting filming in April, but who knows. Waiting for an official announcement...
I agree, I would like to watch this pairing. I feel like Li Qin hasn’t had much to do in the Joy of Life series, so this may be one that would allow her to stretch more.
Yeah, I don't feel the chemistry so far. She's very grounded and mature (well, having lived another life already…
I see. Never read the novel, just judging the drama as I see it. I guess it’s one of the things about rebirth dramas that require some suspension of disbelief.
I like the story but I don't feel the chemistry yet.Is he supposed to be 20 years old? He acts very juvenile and…
Yeah, I don't feel the chemistry so far. She's very grounded and mature (well, having lived another life already lol), but unfortunately for me so far Yu Qi acts much younger and inexperienced. Which is a shame because I know Zhang Wan Yi is capable of a much darker/dangerous performance.
I'm re-watching this, and it looks like iqiyi (I'm in US) has switched the order the beginning eps to the new version finally. While I didn't mind the originally edited version, the first episode definitely pops better.
Yeah, I’m concerned I might not be able to last that long, but we’ll see. So far Jing Tian is holding my interest but I’m holding out my judgment on ZWY. So far he’s been a bit stiff, but maybe after ep 3 things will change.
Giving this a try. The set up is not very original, and it's a very typical idol period drama production after 2 episodes, but I'm liking Jing Tian in this.
Side note: when her betrothed Chong Yi showed up, it brought up memories of seeing the actor in A Dream of Splendor. Creeper vibes lol.
Checking this out now on Netflix. Super quirky, and it took me about 5 episodes to really get into it, but it's an interesting set up. Toma and Sebumi dynamic are carrying the show for me right now.
Just finished! The best part of the show was the love-hate relationship between the sects. I love it when stories…
Yeah, thing are not always what they seem, and people can change. It's nice to see that even the side characters go through development throughout the story.
