My final two theories ahead of the last 2 episodes.
1. Lee Man Ho isn't Dead - I don't know why but for some strange reason, I have this feeling that maybe LMH isn't dead even though the doctors and Prof. Yang have declared otherwise. I feel that maybe he is alive and is declared dead to keep him safe from Assemblyman Ko. It would be interesting and a big twist if that's the case.
2. Assemblyman Ko promised Prof. Kim that LMH will not be able to get in contact with his son (in exchange for the bill) - In EP 12, we saw Prof. Kim giving away her research on a particular bill (something to do with defamation, if I remember correctly) and in return, she asked the assemblyman to keep his promise. I think the promise she was referring to was to ensure LMH does not get in touch with his son because other than her, the assemblyman also knows about the son and was the one who sent him (LMH's son) to US.
This are just me and my theories, lets see what happens :). Can't wait for the next episode.
I'm someone who hates dropping shows but I just couldn't continue with this one. This drama had a brilliant start but as the show progressed, certain parts of the drama became repetitive to the point where I completely lost interest after episode 24. Additionally, I personally feel like this drama is way too long. Had the episodes been between 20 - 30 episodes, the show would have been absolutely perfect. But at the end of the day, this is just me and my opinion.
However, with all this being said, I must admit that all the actors did a brilliant job at the portrayal of their respective characters and even the voice dubbing was quite good. At the end, I guess this drama wasn't my cup of tea but those who enjoy slow burn love stories will definitely like this one.
This show was and still is one of my favourite crime and investigation dramas. Loved the plot, the cast, their chemistry and the cinematography. In short everything was just perfect :)
In the latest episode (EP 12), after having a quick lunch with Assemblyman Ko, Prof. Kim is seen having a video call with a guy named James in her car. That James is Lee Man Ho's son - whom he (LMH) is desperately searching for :).
Although, I'm certain Assemblyman Ko is the mastermind behind Seo's murder but, I must admit that, Professor Kim is also acting suspiciously given the fact, that she was in touch with LMH's son and the promise she kept mentioning when talking to Ko, wonder what that was all about. Anyways, hope she isn't the real murder as I really like her character and her friendship with Professor Yang. Looking forward to EP 13 to see the end result of Ye Seul's case.
Really enjoyed this movie! If you are looking for an easy watch type of movie with a simple plot and nothing too complicated, then this is the one. But, mind you, this movie was made back in 2008 so as long as you don't mind the old wolf hairstyle or the cinematography, then do check it out :)
With the final half-hour being unadulterated fluff from beginning to end I sense that the writer was doing penance…
Hmmm......For some reason, I felt the opposite in the sense, I felt that the appearance of Sun Bo Xiang & Lu Zhi Gang meant that MODC 2 is still on the cards and that its going to happen sometime soon. Hopefully, it does else it would be a bit silly since MODC is probably one of the most loved HIStory series out there (*fingers crossed :)).
This is one of those dramas that one has to watch in order to decide whether its for them or not. For me, this drama was so-so, not the best but definitely not the worst. Had the brothers storyline been done slightly differently and had the show not been a cringefest, my experience would have definitely been a lot better. However, despite my unpopular opinion, I must admit that all the actors present in this drama played their respective roles brilliantly. Looking forward to their future works and to HIStory5, hopefully it'll be a continuation of Make our Days Count (*fingers crossed).
I'm not trying to be rude or a smart ass, but seriously, wouldn't this be a great cause for some deep reflection…
I get where you're coming from and before I say anything, let me tell you that I don't think their relationship is biologically wrong nor is it morally wrong given the fact that they are not blood related. However, it's definitely a weird situation (at least for me), in the sense, the parents are together and even their kids are together, for some strange reason the idea just doesn't sit well with me.
Plus, what made the weird factor rise for me was the fact that FYJ and YXS kinda grew up together ever since FYJ was 10 and YXS was 18 (or was it 20). I can't speak for others but for me, this is definitely growing up together. Had they been completely out of touch, then maybe (just maybe), I wouldn't have found it as weird. But at the end of the day, to each their own. This is just me and my opinion and what my feelings were when watching their relationship grow from siblings to lovers (its absolutely cool, if others have a different opinion :)).
P.S. Society and culture did not play much role in my take on their relationship. I honestly couldn't care less about what the society thinks is acceptable and unacceptable.
Definitely a good episode....However, I still feel like FYJ and YXS's thinking is a little twisted and their relationship is just weird. No matter how hard I try to make sense of it, I just can't. Oh well....at the end of the day, its just fiction ;D
The amount of cringe in this show is on a whole new level. I can't think of a single episode that I watched in one go without having to pause at least 4 or 5 times in between XD
Just finished EP 7 and I've come to a conclusion that, JBR might not be a psychopath. He might have the psychopath gene but he actually fits in the 1% genius category. I hope my prediction is correct otherwise, its gonna be a bit disappointing as I really like the character JBR. And maybe, just maybe, SYH might not have been a killer. Don't know why I feel this way.
Also, can I just say that I was a bit disappointed with the way they killed of SYH's character, cause, for some reason I really liked his character and the actor who played.
