literally they didn't need to do anything more than light trimming! i am still grieving his original look lmao
Seriously! He greyed so beautifully, he just needed a clean up and some styling. They did all of that whooping and hollering when he first hit the scene saying he looked sexy etc, just to make him a completely different person. This is up there with some of the America’s Next Top Model makeovers 😭
Justice for Jae Soo, starting with the makeover! (I think I have his name right). Bring back the silver fox, my god they did him dirty taking it away to that degree. Not to mention it’s a false representation and can create further issues with self love/appreciation.
What i realized this season is that the men have a loser mentality. They push each other in their wrongs. „i…
I’m on episode 5, I’m bad with names too.. but I know the name Hyukjoon because I agree!!! I cannot believe him right now acting like this. The men in general though, omg. There is a very clear difference in why the ladies are single versus why the guys are.
Well, I really liked the character Ritt. Why? Because he is a normal human being who isn't perfect; he made mistakes…
Yes, I’m only on episode 2 and already I’m not digging how Pure is pressuring him to keep getting wasted night after night to tell fortunes at his bar. No “friend” should be comfortable or happy to see you that drunk every single day, let alone pushing it on you for their own gain. And I’m no prude lol I love a good turn up, but surely he has to know this isn’t sustainable? I’m just left wondering for how long is he going to expect Ritt to do this… (In my most humble opinion he lacks business acumen and shouldn’t have a bar in the first place.)
Easy watch for sure. I personally loved it because everyone got what they deserved which is a rarity and the FL wasn’t a doormat at any turn. It didn’t give us an original plot or anything, but I still rate it a 9 for delivering cliche in the best way I’ve seen thus far on any variation of a similar drama.
Might mess around and give it a 9.5 for the smacks alone! Hahah
“Mature female lead” and it’s just a FL who gets walked all over by her mom, her bestie, her lover wannabe, her love rival, her lover, and her ringtone.
And those are just the main ones, there’s plenty of others along the way too.
With police like these guys who needs enemies? The cops were incompetent, Do Eun Hye needs to be locked up too for a few reasons but my reason? because she’s stupid, and put the culprit under the jail for being dumb too.. out here causing their own problems.
I’ll rate 8 because it doesn’t quite fit with my other 7.5s.
Funny enough I started watching this after I finished Weak Hero Class 1, and it was wild seeing ML in such a different…
Omg yes! When I watched this I kept thinking “how do I know him??” and then it clicked that it was WHC! His range with these two roles alone is insane, can’t wait to see more of him.
One thing I didn't like was the final reveal of her parents still being alive. Why? A setup for a second season?…
My thoughts exactly. Leaving to see her mom became a useless side quest in my opinion because we didn’t see any of it, so why include it? I was underwhelmed by the wrap up of the aunt and uncle, too. They didn’t get nearly enough blame for what they contributed to her childhood trauma. You hated a child because *gasp* a daughter looks like her mother! Really?? Come on.
8 for the show for these reasons, an extra .5 for Hiro.
I was enjoying it for what it was, but I said if this one thing doesn’t happen by the end of it then I can’t…
You mean to tell me after *multiple* instances of attempted murder, embezzlement, fraud, forging of documents, several druggings, assaults, the list goes on (all with tangible proof)… Not a single soul is in jail or got they a** beat?? (A singular slap does NOT suffice.)
I can accept decent bad tv, but I can’t accept zero consequences. None of this “it’s implied” nonsense either. Nope, I need to see the handcuffs and/or I need to see the bruises.
I was enjoying it for what it was, but I said if this one thing doesn’t happen by the end of it then I can’t rate it any higher than a 6 (I actually said 5 because it was already a 7.5 to begin with but decided for a happy medium). So I guess 6 it is.
I loved it! It hit all the major food groups and left very little on the plate to be desired. So glad I decided to watch. It’s rare that you like every single character, but I really do.
Is it silly? Yes. Does it make sense? Hardly. Do the last few eps become more nonsensical? Absolutely! But I knew what I was signing up for after episode one and I really liked it. It’s not a fave but it certainly is not a 7 point anything. Genuinely laughed during this, I think the actors did well and I loved their chemistry in their foolishness. (Still wished I could have watched this in Korean, neither here nor there though.) Super easy watch and worth it.
Unrealistic reconciliation strikes again! If I say what grandma deserves my comment might get reported. Honestly, I think plot points like this (blaming a child for an obviously not their fault tragedy, mistreating them forever, etc) really hinder a drama. It’s nonsensical in a non fun way. Like, come up with a better reason she doesn’t like the kid.
Might mess around and give it a 9.5 for the smacks alone! Hahah

Anyway, I still liked it enough all in all.
