Also, this person wanted to film w/ BL, but he got rejected twice. BL choose her bestie’s bf instead. :) The second drama, BL choose her bestie’s bf’s coworker. So he is not necessarily in their “friends group”. However, DD is still nice to him and everyone. Seeing what happened with UL, I assume censorship will be ruthless with this project also.
I don’t know who backs or has investment in the actor CY. That rivalry between their fans started last summer when both drama was airing same time slot. CY drama was expected to do really good but it was not good or could not compete w/ LLTG and LBFD. I thought I read somewhere that his team hired fans to review and influencers to promote it, I could be wrong. Actually, some of those users named are supporter of the stalker ex-gf and of those haters who does not like DiXin couple rising fame. Interestingly during that time also, the controversial ZL (although she’s friends w/ DD), was targeting Xx. I heard her trolls hit LBFD before the premiere so that there would be no advertising deals for LBFD. I heard that LLTG was given to Netflix for almost no money to beat LBFD there! Anyway, these attacks are almost like organized smear campaign. It happened the day after DD big deal with Maybelline and now maybe to get him off the role for Dafeng Guardian. There also a few trolls lurking on here at the LBFD page.

Some people wondering what is DFQC’s original form. My guess is that DFQC is hinted as a BIG LAUREL TREE. I noticed his combat armor resembled of tree roots and his many crowns are wooden and resembled bark, branches, or plant roots. In the drama, his nanny said to the teenage DFQC, who was carving a sculpture of the first MS, “if you are not the Moon Supreme, you’d become a top carpenter in the future”. Orchid calls him, 大木头 literally means “Big Wood(en) Head”. His name Qingcang (青苍) means “green” which are colors of leaves. He is a laurel because characters for laurel - 月桂 (yuèguì) and 月 means Moon! He’s drawn to Goddess of Xishan because her healing power and has connection to all plant life. He sometime makes his grand entrance in a poof of red and black smoke that is shape like a tree rather than wings (in the anime). His emotions are represented by a love tree.

It’s a happy ending. There’s a balance of funny, excitement, angst, and some terribly sad scenes. This director got nearly every episode ends on a cliff hanger.

Yes, he is back. Orchid placed his bone orchid in her healing garden and waited 500 years for his transformation. There is power being drawn from the flowers to the Bone Orchid. It is the healing power of Xilan.
There is only 36 episodes--it is stated here and on the streaming platforms. This drama blew up when it aired and the producers were not prepared for it. Many fans requested for season 2 or more episodes (after all, we have been through so much w/ the main lead that we needed to be compensated with more than just a kiss at the end!) To pacify the fans the producers put together the 2 epilogues to conclude their life together. Unfortunately, we never got to see the grand wedding he promised! 😭

She was only fangirling CH like the rest of the other fairies (only Danyin was really in love with CH). She was falling for DFQC as early as episode 5. It was the underwater kiss (ep 8) that took it to the next level.
Also, she only remembers CH from the story her master told her when she was still an orchid plant, that CH asked her master not to toss the Orchid plant away when her roots got spoiled. I believe her master made up this story to cover up that she deliberately spoiled her root to keep her real power hidden and keep her safe. CH doesn’t remember this ever happen. If CH didn’t erase her memory she may have loved him and DFQC would not have a chance.

It’s been 5 months for me and I still can’t get over it. I’ve rewatched 5 times already. We definitely needed another episode. We were robbed of the grand wedding at the end. I want to see Dongfang Qingcang marry his Moon Queen and go back to Cangyan Sea and have babies. He suffered enough already.
