I was just about to comment regarding this. I am fine with WD’s special makeup ‘temporarily’ either as Wei Ping or Wei’s past life. I noticed he has the special makeup in both the black costume and in the rough linen. Hopefully both costumes are for Wei Ping. I’ve asked this question on several posts, but no one knows. There is no point if he in disguised the entire time. In the novel, the character's appearance is the only one that can rival the male protagonist. He is described as possessing a divine beauty that transcends the distinction between male and female. So Wei Ping’s scenes should all be special effects makeup. After the ‘breakup’, we should see Wang Duo's natural face. 🥹 Don’t give up hope.

Yeah How will two thin sponge pads protect his fall from 30 to 40 feet at a high speed? For this kind of shooting, they should add a safety net or inflatable cushions, and even ambulances / emergency personnel on standby at the scene. With Didi doing his own stunts, they already saved on a hiring a stunt man. I guess I was onto something with the bad vibes about this crew and how they were stepping on Didi. The IP address of the location where the note was posted is in Zhejiang (Hengdian is also in Zhejiang). If the official crew wants to respond, they should find someone on Weibo to respond appropriately. Some fans have already responded that the person was sent by his Agency (MY) and she even deleted the fans' comments and blocked them. Many fans suspect that this account is a ‘professional’ fan (trained by MY) uses to deal with fans, that is, fans should shut up and stop making trouble for the crew. The attitude of the crew can be seen already with the details; suppressed DD during opening ceremony, promoting a ‘group drama’, his costumes, and now safety. Of course the company has overhead costs and he only receives part of his own earnings. In the past Didi didn’t receive share of the company’s profits (not in his contract and the profits are mostly from his earnings). The shares were only implemented last year to retain him. His company relies on Dylan to attract work for other actors in the agency (MY is useless)!

He has sought out and gotten his roles from auditions (YITFOW) + word-of-mouth recommendations/offers because of his performance and good relationships with the network and people in the industry (EN2, MTD, TRL, LBFAD, OFL, NGU, his movie, and GOTD). This is not the first time Dylan agreed to risky shoots, but the ‘no security’ is something both the crew and his agency need to address and spend money on! The attitude of the crew can be seen already and his company is calm and silent. All issues can be resolved with money but his company always ignored. His fans act as third party to monitor.

Yes that’s right his agency is useless and did not protect him all these years. I think he has 2 more yrs with them. He was a teenager when he signed w/ MY in 2017. At the time the CEO was Tawainese Angie Chai (produced Meteor Garden). However, Mengyang was a startup agency w/ no experience or connection. Basically she created and signed Didi, and a few MG crew to her new agency. I read somewhere it’s a 10 yr contract. Dylan only gets a very small share of his earnings & overworked. Beginning of last year, netizen discovered Mengyang already gave him 29% of share in fear that he leaves (not sure about dividends or voting rights. This is just basically him getting more share of his own earnings). Some of us think he will likely stay w/ his agency because of his loyalty.
