I think the kiss also transferred the Xilan Holy Seal (Heart curse) that appeared on her chest earlier. It later showed up on his forehead. His 7 colorful emotion lights were pounding on them and then blended together and able to enter him as she was sucked into his heart sea. It is quite a beautiful revival.
