I find his love a bit creepy But still (sometimes) I feel bad for ML, every word coming out of his mouth is misunderstood by Fl (rightfully so considering their history)! the 'I want your heart' in ep 24 had me screaming : NOT THAT HEART!
It would've been a good change if they didn't turn ML to be good in disguise... why can't we have literal bad ML? he could be a villain and obsessed with her but they turned him good in the end... which is ridiculous imo.
she went back to her time (they don't show how) and he went to palace.
