Normally I usually only watch romance dramas (as the main genre or as the subgenre) but this drama looks too damn amazing !! Will watch this definitely the same day it airs!
I have 3 episodes left and I’m really loving this drama! It’s not a masterpiece like The Red Sleeve, My Dearest etc, but the acting is amazing and the chemistry between the leads is 🔥 one of my favorite kdrama couples for sure! And the love making scene is one of the best and most beautiful in kdramaland~ the kisses wooow 🔥🔥 and I’m deeply touched by how deeply, intensely the ML loves, he would go through hell and fire for his woman !! If you love MLs like that , who loves with all his heart and soul — who would risk it ALL for the FL etc , then this drama is for you. Plus Kang Tae Oh is so hot in this drama, and not having this feminine flower boy type of looks (yay!) and Kim Se Jeong is just as great at acting as Kang Tae Oh, you totally feel the deep love and passion their characters has for each other. One of the best chemistry in kdramaland for sure…
This drama while not perfect, deserves way higher rating than 8,1!
I have a feeling the chemistry between the leads will be on FIRE 🔥♨️🥵 two villains in a love-hate relationship ?? I think the chemistry will be so intense and there will be sexual tension too! Looking forward to tomorrow ^^
A historical kdrama NOT set in joseon dynasty for once ?? Finally! It’s set in 1200s Korea - Goryeo Dynasty! I can’t remember the last time there was a kdrama set earlier than joseon dynasty… maybe ”River where the moon rises” from 2021??
Don’t get me wrong , I think Joseon dynasty is very interesting but it’s nice that for a change it’s set earlier than joseon dynasty, for once.
People on Reddit are dissing on this drama mainly cuz of PMY saying stuff like ”too much plastic surgery she can no smile normally, completely unnatural” etc. Well I like PMY in this kind of role, when she’s acting all cold but still vulnerable deep down , suits her well! She has a mask on her so you don’t see always her real emotions showing in Siren’s Kiss. . Her smile are supposed to look fake anyways , cuz deep down she’s deeply depressed . I think PMY does a great job here, she’s a great actress.
I could be totally wrong but I think U Seok is gonna kiss Seol Ah’s scar on her shoulder when they about to make love .. it wouldn’t be the first time I see it kdramaland , where the ML kisses the FL’s scar when they about to make love.
People has ofc right to their own opinion but it’s a bit hard for me to understand how many can think that the main couple is boring while the 2 other couples are way more interesting. I find the main couple so beautiful because both help to heal each other, that’s sooo beautiful for me 🥺 also they are so sweet and gentle with each other, those 2 makes my heart flutter a lot! I realized that my favorite type of couples in dramaland are where the couple heals and grows together, for me there is nothing more beautiful than that <3 and j personally think that the chemistry between Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop is excellent! I don’t know if people would think that the chemistry would be better if it was Seo In Guk instead as the ML (he was offered the role but rejected ) , I’m however glad that it’s CJH who is the ML here , I think this kind of role fits him perfectly..he has this cute innocence to him that melts my heart! (I still love SIG tho, he’s awesome but this role was made for CHJ in my opinion). I can’t believe he’s the same age as me 😱 I never would have thought he’s 32, looks so much younger!
There is something truly beautiful about relationships where the couple heal each other / becomes each other’s light and strength. I realized that many of my favorite drama couples are like that : finding love and comfort in each other .. beginning to heal from past scars etc thanks to each other. Is there anything more beautiful than that?
I wonder if PMY’s character here will be like the female version of Seo In Guk’s character in The Smile Has Left Your Eyes? Either way this drama is gonna be sooo interesting! I have absolutely no idea how this will end and I have also no idea how ’evil’ PMY’s character will be, or if she’s just morally grey… if she’s behind the death of her lovers or not, etc. I wanted to watch the Japanese original version first but haven’t been able to find it anywhere to watch with english subtitles, so I have given up.
Other dramas where one of them is deaf (with sign language) is the k-drama ”Can you hear My Heart” a.ka ”Listen to my Heart” (more on family than the romance but the romance feels very pure, gentle, innocent, sweet and healthy. A wholesome drama, recommended, 9/10) ML is the deaf one.
Aishiteiru to ittekute (Japanese drama, this is very VERY old , from 1995!) it’s a beautiful romance with lots of natural skinship/kisses and chemistry is amazing. If it wasn’t for the last 2 episodes I’d give this 10/10! So I’d give it 8/10 because last 2 episodes ruined it a bit.. The relationship tho is very adult , they behave like 2 adults in love would do irl , so it’s very realistic. ML is the deaf one.
Orange days— , another Japanese drama. My favorite one of these 3! Here the FL is the deaf one, while some parts were annoying it was overall amazing. Just like Aishiteiru to ittekure the skinship/kisses feels natural. 10/10! Available on Netflix

I wish I could watch the Japanese original version first but I can’t find it anywhere to watch with English subtitles…I can’t even find it on dvd to buy with English subtitles 😞
