Ok, Neungdiao can't fight and is intimidated due to the two other guys there as well, but honestly the level of restraint he's able to show is what I would expect from someone's dad who died of natural causes. Neungdiao saw his dad die in front of him and is able to let that boy talk so much sh*t before he actually does anything and when he does, it's just a push. That doesn't strike me as realistic. The trauma from that event plus all those harsh words while wearing his father's last birthday gift to him would have sent any normal person into a blind rage. The same kinda goes for his mom. She saw her own husband die due to threats against the company and instead of backing down, she's brave enough to hold her ground against the entire public, but when someone she knows and already hates throws her husband's death in her face then implies to her face that he could her or her son, she cowers? Her character strikes me as much stronger and I wish that scene would have been written that way. Also, I don't know about Phuwin's acting in the fight scene and just the 'logistics' of the fight overall...it seemed very fake. Other than that, I enjoyed this episode a lot. Especially shooting range scene. Lastly, I don't hear actually words when Ben is talking. Just hissing. 🐍

I'm sad to see the rating having dropped this low. This drama is actually really good.

Yeah. We he was trying to explain himself to the chef about how he feels when he's around Dew it was so sweet. He was trying to say he's in love, but couldn't/didn't know how to.

The way Milk pushes Uncle away from him and says "Move, get away from me now." after giving him a kiss reminds me of my own cat and it stresses me out. lol 😭 This was such a cute show. I'm gonna miss them.

They were in the casino business. I got this from the show, but I guess it wasn't laid out that obviously...aside from the fact that Kinn's cousins are named Vegas and Macau (two popular international casino cities).

Yeah. They way he says the second character 'you' in pengyou is completely off and it just makes the whole scene ironic since Neungdiao is getting so frustrated with Palm's pronunciation. The correct pronunciation is the tone 3. Palm's on 1 and Neungdiao's on 4...over and over again. lol The Mandarin teacher also says a sentence to Palm which was completely unintelligible to both me and my partner. We had to rewind and still didn't get it.

I agree about the difficulty of Chinese though you really can’t get by without getting the tones down.

I feel like it's a pan-Asian thing. If you're old enough to have a child who's completed uni and/or married, you're "old". lol

Do you have any videos of him speaking Chinese? I'd be really curious to hear it because in the scene where he's trying to teach Pond how to say 'friend', they're actually both repeatedly pronouncing it wrong. lol

I just hope it stays KinnPorsche goes to high school and doesn't slip into Golden Blood: High School Edition.

Funny you ask this because when the Mandarin teacher tells Perth's character to help Pond's character "catch up" I was thinking to myself, "Mandarin isn't math. You can't just jump in from 0 and get to a level the rest of a class is at."LOL

But to answer your question, I don't think it's necessarily easier for them because the tones are different. Also, because they have tones in their language, I think they sometimes subconsciously apply those tones to Mandarin. So when I hear westerners speak Mandarin, it's slow, over-pronounced tones. When Thai people speak Mandarin, they speak quickly, but the tones are still off, which makes it honestly harder to understand them (for Mandarin speakers).

You're right it isn't enough, but I think that's how it's going to be until and unless he says it outright. :/
Which makes me realize how little the sexuality of boys in BL is ever defined, anyway. Seldom in BL do we have gay people falling in love. It's usually one guy who we know was involved with girls before (i.e.-bisexual, I guess) and another guy with no previous romantic interests. Or two guys who were involved with girls before....sorry I rambling.
