Damn. I had completely forgotten about like half of those conflicts. I really hope the series doesn't de-rail and just focus on those aspects too much though tbh.

I've been following Force on Instagram since Enchanté. Let me tell you: It's been a pleasure watching him work out in the gym and go from scrawny boy with nice abs to total hunk over the past year.

I don't feel like there's a whole lot going on with the plot, but that's ok with me. It's ok for things to be simple and pleasant. However, I really wonder how the plot is going to reach 12 episodes. Everything short of making it 100% official has already happened. They've even had their traditional BL main characters beach trip already.

I'm probably going to have to scroll through some comments and reviews to be able to understand others' perspectives and why this is rated so low, but I personally loved it.

In many, if not most BLs, the characters' personal development and self-realization either takes the backseat to or is at least equally as important as the romance, but in this one, that's not the case. This show's primary concern is Mamoru coming to recognize himself as good enough and Issei learning to turn his smile from a method of defense to a true expression of his feelings (especially for Mamoru).

Yes, I love Mamoru and Issei's moments together, but what I love more is watching them go through life and overcome challenge after challenge each episode and learn something new about themselves.

I also really enjoyed the support characters: Tsubassa, Yamada and Framboise.

This isn't a very romance-heavy show, but it's really meaningful and if you're down for all the feels, then you'll like it.

I loved when Issei walked into Mamoru's apartment and saw Mamoru's SHRINE to him and was just like "Oh. You have the posters. Arigato. 😊"

Agreed. I feel like a huge chunk (approximately 40% or so, I'd guess) of guys in the BL have been demonstratively bisexual, but it's virtually never talked about.

They say "never say never", but...it's extremely unlikely we're going to get any bromances like these anymore. Immortality, with my beloved Luo Yunxi, was filmed and set to air like two years ago, but it's likely never going to happen.

I really enjoyed this show. It could have dived a bit deeper into some things, but this is my favorite BL I've seen this year so far.

Episode 6 should have been it for Alan and Wen's storyline. I really hope they do spend too much time on that for these last two episodes.

And it's funny because Bright has been in the game for a long time and loads of experience yet this was a huge criticism of his when 2gether was airing.

I agree with you about ill-placed sex scenes in American shows. They get on my nerves especially we're in the middle of a high stakes situation and then it moves into a sex scene seemingly just to fill time, but in this case, I don't think so. Two guys meet after midnight, have a long walk and talk, realize they're attracted to each other and then hook up. It's not really an unrealistic circumstance.
