I liked this. I like it when then older or more dominant one is able to feel feelings and express them. I like that they talked out their differences. I also really liked that they got together early enough in the series so that we could see them dealing with every day things together as a couple instead of just falling in love and happily ever after. I think the actors all did very good jobs with their characters and although Kim Jong Chan can and does look extremely stoic and cold when he's not smiling, he actually smiles quite a bit throughout the series and it's so lovely (this also goes back to my point about the dominant one being free to express himself).
I'm somewhat surprised that this drama is rated as low as it is too. I feel like it should at least be at a 7.8...maybe it's because it drifted away from the source material?
This started out strong for me, but then around episode 7 or so, I just gets boring. After a month, I don't think I'll remember much of what happened. 6.5/10
I really do get worried when people say something they're accused of isn't the "whole truth". I feel like I can count on one hand the situations in which that didn't make the accused a complete a$$. I hope that's not the case here. However, as I've only read the accusations and his video public response, if anyone would be so kind as to link me to any (legitimate) updates, I'd be ever so thankful. <3
For that split second when Chopper covered Ben's mouth in the bathroom stall, I felt the chemistry so much between the two actors. Pond and Phuwin are doing their thing, but Perth and Chimon are really something else. <3
everyone is feeling sorry for Palm, which is very much understandable, but people seem to forget about what Nueng…
and be denied giving help to his mother who had just been shot. I couldn't imagine watching my mom in that much physical pain (no matter how it was inflicted) and being forced to go somewhere else.
I really do appreciate it when BLs feature unambiguously gay guys. It's actually not surprising how seldom it happens, but I think it's starting to change and I love that.
Many of the criticisms of this show so far are 100% valid and I don't personally disagree with them, but did I still entirely enjoy that first episode? Yes. Yes, I did. 😋
I didn't think that Dean and Pharm would be featured as much as they are in this show, so that was a pleasant surprise. I also like that we get pretty much all cute moments and almost none of the trauma from UWMA.
I can't imagine what someone who hasn't watched the show who comes here and reads the comments is thinking. The opinions are so fantastically split rn. lol
