This drama is available with English subtitles at the WeTV app site under the title " Nice To Meet You" I was able to watch a portion of Ep 1 with subs and the subs are good quality- I think they hired professional translators. Unfortunately, I had to stop watching the episode and when I tried to watch the rest of the episode, I could not get the subtitles to display. I tried watching at the site on my PC and also my tablet. So I'm not sure if there is a glitch in the computer system, if the subs are geo-restricted, if they only allow subs on a mobile phone, or what the issue it exactly. Just want to let people know that the subtitles are definitely there but it may be difficult for you to access them. Good Luck!

The OST was really good in this drama. I liked both the opening credits song and the ending song.

Yes, I think is always a chance for Viki to get the liscense even though YT is subbing it. It has happened before where Viki have the liscense and YT also subbing at the same time. Current example is C Drama The Untamed. It being subbed by Viki and also by WeTV English/Tencent YT channels right now.
As for not subbing after getting the liscense...it is very rare Viki do not sub after getting liscense. I only know 1 drama where that happen because Viki have liscense and then on the day of broadcast, there is no upload. Everyone ask- "where is episode?' Then after a few days, the drama disappear and Viki leave message that the liscense is gone and Viki will not have the drama. But that is very rare case. As I say, usually if Viki get liscense then there will be subs.

If Viki get drama liscense, then 99.5% chance drama will be subbed. I leave the .5% because there is the rare problem. More likely biggest issue is subbing will be slow at Viki since they use volunteers, but the quality of subtitles is usually good. I often find Viki subs less confusing than YT subs. Another nice thing about Viki is they have subs in multiple languages, not just english. It all depends on the subbing team for a particular drama. If team is big and has lots of people, then subbing goes fast. If team is small, subbing goes slower. Right now, I watch one drama at Viki and episodes are fully subbed 24 hours after upload. Another drama I watch at Viki, it take 2 weeks for episode to be fully subbed. It all depends. But if Viki get liscense for a drama it is a good thing in my opinion.

No, just YT right now. I notice today that one of their other dramas, Prodigy Healer, has been liscensed to Viki so I am hoping that perhaps Viki will get the liscense for this drama too. I request the drama at Viki:

@Crazy Bee Zee Unfortunately, slow subbing for Chinese dramas is often the norm as many of the YouTube Channels rely on fansubbers, who will sub as time permits outside of their real lives. And yes, many projects are often stalled or abandoned when fansubbers are involved. That being said, more YT channels are officially subbing their dramas and LBTI is now being subbed by the YT channel. LBTI has not been abandoned, and Ep. 7 has been subbed today. As for schedule, I think we will probably get 1 episode a week subbed for this drama because the YT Channel is focusing on subbing their other drama Novoland: Eagle Flag, and that drama has the priority.

So far, Hotpot do not actually sub the dramas themselves. They just provide access to the episodes. Most of the dramas are subbed by the content provider (the YT channels, for example) Sometime it say Hotpot subs on the old DF dramas because DF give them the subs. There are some dramas at Hotpot that are raw only. I think in the future Hotpot want to sub dramas themselves and be like Dramafever and Viki, but for now they just pay for the access to anything content provider give. So if content provider subs the drama, then Hotpot will have subs too. We will have to hope that the content provider make subtitles for "The Wolf".

@chase_kayden Hotpot.tv is a new legal streaming site for Chinese and Taiwan dramas. It is free site with ads. Their goal is to be like Viki and Dramafever eventually. Right now, is more like an aggregator site with YT links. Hotpot was started by a guy who used to work at Dramafever before it shut down, so they have a lot of the old DF Chinese titles that have DF subs. I think the founder use his DF connections to liscense the DF Chinese dramas. They also have agreements with a lot of the official YT channels to show their dramas. You have option to sign up for free account (this is optional- you don't need account to watch anything at the website) but because I sign up for account they send me e-mail notices on the new dramas they add to the site. So I got an e-mail notice about new dramas coming to Hotpot in August.

As for how Hotpot.tv know about the broadcast date.... I believe they use their connections with the China media to get information about what dramas are coming, and similar to Viki, they make deals to get the liscense for dramas to show at the site. So it look like they pay for liscense contract for "The Wolf" and whoever is the provider in China tell them they plan to release the drama in August 2019, so Hotpot put it on their "August dramas" list, just like Viki have the "Coming Soon" page. Of course, there is always a chance things may change in China and the drama release date change, but I take it as a good sign.

@Angedesang I understand your concern. I check and Novoland Eagle flag schedule is Mon-Thurs, so 4 days a week. Obviously, the YT channel say it is focusing on that drama so we will be lucky to get 1 episode a week subbed since it look like most of the days they will be busy with Novoland. Maybe someone else will volunteer .

Thanks for the information about the subbing delay. I hope we don't have to wait until Novoland Eagle Flag is finished airing to get more subbed episodes for this drama.

I just got a notice from Hotpot.tv Looks like they have liscensed this drama under the title of "Majesty of the Wolf". According to them, it's supposed to be released in August 2019.
