I am only on episode 2, but I still hope for two things... the first one is to end the love triangle with the brother early, and for them not to be together only for the last episode or the last five minutes...

And for things like this is that the writers should invest less time in love triangles. They give too much screentime to the second male lead and his attempts; to the point that it creates some expectations for some people because they get use to see them getting closer and closer even if the girl doesn't show interest, it is still time invested for nothing in the end ..

I don't like love most love triangles for that same exact reason. For a 12 or even 16 episodes show, every minute counts, and after watching 2 episodes (I knowing who the real one is from the beginning), she has barely spent any time with the actual male lead. The problem is that all that time invested with the brother is wasted because they are not endgame, which is time that could be invested in the actual main couple instead (but I guess the plan to play mystery by trying to trick us about the wrong brother being the real one). Also, it is just weird whenever I see a story where two brothers fall for the same girl...

For me, two things made clear who he was. 1. The shoes scene, and 2. Even with amnesia, He kept the way he was in the past and now he is in the present, while the other brother was the complete opposite of how he was when he was younger.

Additionally, there is the clear intentions of the writers to suggest the wrong brother first to throw us off and drag the "mystery" a bit more...

As long as she chose the brother that was her friend in the past. She made the right choice.

If this is all true, I have some hope now!

I have three questions that I am sure have no answer until the show has aired completely. I want to know if there is a love triangle, if there is a break up (for how long) and if it has a happy ending!

Hola! Yes, there are two break ups in Welcome to Samdal-ri. The big one happened years ago and you get to discover the reason why they broke up through flashbacks, and a second one right after they are starting to consider getting back together because of family issues, however, the issue happens by the end of one episode, and they get back together by the end of the next episode.

Additionally, there is a long distance relationship in the last episode, but it is super quick, since she decides to support him and encourages him, and they immediately cut to the next scene 2 years later, where you'll see what is happening with everyone two years later and then ML coming back to FL.

There are only two reasons why I haven't started watching this. 1. I couldn't finish the first episode, which goes along with your comment of a slow start, and that the main leads seem to marry around episode 40, so I have to wait until I have the patience to wait for 40 episodes.

I like that, and I kinda know what to expect since I watched "One Spring Night", but since this version has some notable changes I wanted to make sure that they did not change "that". Thanks for your follow up.

I guess this can only apply to small exceptions where the drama has a sad ending or when the story does not make clear who the male lead is and have you guessing for a few episodes.
