I'm not sure if you're already started watching this or not. It's the same director as Gen Y, but it's a professional…
Ah okay. Well, I’ll still give a shot and see if I‘ll like it.
I can’t compare it as I haven’t seen Cutie Pie yet. At this point i just hope I’ll like both if the these shows but we‘ll see. Thanks for the heads-up though!

Haven’t seen Cutie Pie yet. I usually wait till the show ist almost finished to binge it. I’ve heard a lot of contradicting opinions about itthough but I’m excited to watch it and see how it‘ll be.
😔 I’m just glad I didn’t start the second season or I probably wouldn’t be able to recover at all.
That sounds good. I definitely wasn’t a big fan of Bite Me either. I don’t dislike long camera shots per se but I don’t like it if they are being unnecessarily dragged out.
Despite the sea of all the awkward and accidental kisses this was simply so fun to watch! It’s on the lower end of the production value but it has an undeniably unique charm to it. I even ended up loving the theme song, at first ironically but later I just truly started enjoying it so much!

Ah yes thank you! I was a bit concerned bc overall Gen Y wasn’t necessarily my cup tea and I’m personally not a big fan of overly long camera shots. I haven’t started it yet but reading your comment made me less anxious about it. I’ll certainly give it a shot, I just feel like I‘m still having ptsd from Gen Y..
For real? Padbook actually ended up with somebody?
Oh okay! Sorry, I misunderstood. In the first season it seemed like he might end up with some guy but they kind of abandoned it and as I haven’t seen the second season I was a little curious.
Reasonably well made and well-acted. It has a certain melancholic feel to it that really fits the tone of the story. All around a nice albeit lower budget series with some above-average acting.
I finally finished it and my opinion mostly stayed the same. The only characters I could watch without much discomfort was Tee and Bank. I think Tee‘s actor delivered acting-wise the type of style that the director probably was going for. His acting was a little campy at times but seemed to be done on purpose and he could variate between comedic and serious expression pretty well. Banks actor I liked the most. I think with a just little bit more coaching he could become a real gem and I would die to see him getting a series of his own. The story itself was pretty basic and feels like it rather belongs in 2015 while having a visual style from the 1970ies. The manga certainly had some basic BL tropes and stereotypes but it’s selling point was the comedy which worked extremely well in a manga as a visual medium. In TV it doesn’t really work like that or maybe the director and scriptwriters simply didn’t know how to properly translate that specific comedy style onto the screen, who knows. All around a bit of a disappointment…
You're right about Turbo being miscast. His acting is awkward at best. And he has zero Chemistry with Kao.
Yeah, strangely. I don’t know why they were given specifically these roles. I was curious to see them being cast as a cp after the glimpses we got from Nitiman but they truly have very little chemistry here and I don’t think it’s Kaownahs fault. I know that they have another upcoming series together but now I don’t know how feel about it either…
it seems with good reason because wow, what was that???
Omg that’s crazy! I’ve never heard of a series this bad. Well, maybe My Toxic Lover. Please don’t feel the pressure to watch it. You’ve tried it and you’re free, it’s over.

I guess I’ll take a look at WFH when it comes out but this time I’ll be emotionally prepared to drop it..
