- Main leads were romantically together at the start (SD does not have a chronological time line but the flashbacks show the leads as a couple).
- ML comes from a rich family and is in a high position (in SD he is an orphan therefore there is no family drama about arranged marriage but in SaB there is).
- ML starts off as really toxic, his love for the FL seems more like an obsession, this is one of the reasons they break up at the start.
- SD focuses a lot on the ML's character development, but in SaB the ML stops being toxic almost out of nowhere.
- SML and FL are close in both dramas (in SD they were a couple in SaB they were only good friends in the past).
- The ML stops being toxic and tries everything to get back with the FL. Once they finally get back together, they stay together through thick and thin.

- Li Hong Yi is the ML in both dramas and he plays a very similar role in both dramas, his characters have the same personality.
- Both dramas at first had the bad guys be perceived as good and the good guys perceived as bad by the FL.
- The FL in both dramas also does not choose the ML at first, in both dramas she has another love interest she actually gets with before realising that the person she first chose was evil.
- In WH the FL has many love interests and she chose the wrong guy multiple times before finally realising the ML was the right one for her. In LiBtI the FL chose the SML (who is evil) before realising the ML is the right one for her.

- Jingyi plays the FL in both dramas: both rich FL's from powerful families.
- Both FL's have a similar personality
- FL and ML do not like each other at all at first, it was sort of a slow burn romance
- Once the leads get together they are very loyal to each other and would do anything to protect each other
- ML's are also similar, both have like a 'bad boy' thing going for them. In L&P ML is a lot more antisocial whilst in FiL he is a lot more outgoing.
- Both ML's are very flirty but the FL was surprisingly the first to make the move in both dramas
- FL's family does not like the ML because of his background and try to get the FL to be with someone else, someone the FL views as a brother but someone who does not see her that way (in L&P FL and the other guy had a lot more distance whilst in FiL he was the outright SML).

KSS had a supernatural storyline WWSK does not and plot wise I preferred KSS. I think there is a lot of similarity in the relationship between the main leads and their past.
- FL works for the ML, in WWSK she is his secretary in KSS she is his subordinate and he is her mentor.
- FL and ML knew each other when they were younger and shared a tragedy, in KSS the leads actually knew each other, they grew up together for a bit and were really close, in WWSK they knew each other for like a day.
- FL promises the ML that they will meet again after they part for years (in WWSK she says she will marry him).
- ML finds FL at his workplace were she is his subordinate and he basically makes her life hell with all the work he gives her whilst she does not recognise that he was her childhood friend.
- Takes them several years working together for them to actually develop romantic feelings for each (though in KSS the ML says that he always liked her and in WWKS it is hinted that the ML may have always liked her) other and get together.

- Hair is EVERTHING: Qin Jun Jie plays the ML in both dramas, though his characters are very different, they do share a similar plot and background. In DoR he is a lot more charismatic whilst in SD he is more aloof.
- You don't know who the FL would end up with until the very last episode. In both dramas it seemed that it can go either way no matter who the main or second lead is.
- Spoiler: In both dramas Qin Jun Jie's character gets the girl.
- In both dramas the ML and FL date each other first and are in a serious reltionship (in DoR this is only shown in flashbacks and is mentioned throughout the drama) before they have a bad breakup.
- Years later the FL dates the SML and then the ML shows up tries to break them up (he is a lot more serious about breaking them up in SD).
- FL hates the ML when he re-enters her life and he spends a lot of the drama trying to figure out why.
- The ML in both dramas is the type of guy that is good to the FL and no one else (this is how he is explicitly described in DoR and essentially his entire personality in SD).
- The SML in both dramas is the kind of guy who is nice to everyone (which can be seen as flirty is DoR and is outright flirty in SD).

This drama is a lot more similar to the Chinese Summer's Desire (drama), not so much the Taiwanese version. The fist thing I though about when I saw the cover pic of DoR was SD.

- Both star Zhao Lusi as the FL
- In both dramas the ML likes the FL from the very beginning and the FL does not reciprocate (at first)
- The FL is oblivious to the ML's feelings for her despite how obvious he is until he confesses.
- The main leads have a similar type of relationship in relation to how they work together. They are really good at solving problems (criminal investigations) together.
- Main leads have very different personalities but they fit together.
- Both star a strong ML and FL. In WRTW the FL can beat up all her enemies using her physical strength whilst in LLTG she does this by setting traps and being honest.
- Both FL's are looked down on by other people for not following social customs and are often perceived as rude and immoral.
- ML is high ranking, a powerful person everyone looks up to. A person who knows and abides by the rules but will break all of them for the FL.
- Just about every guy falls for the FL in both dramas.
- The ML would do anything for the FL even at the cost of his life.

- Both dramas have the same vibe: same friendships, no relationship drama, not really any bad guys, mature, realistic and somewhat slow paced romance.

Similarities:
- Both dramas are about professional sports, one is e-sports the other is shooting.
- Both dramas revolve around the friendship between all the teammates of the sports team, they are all very close and some of the sub-plots revolve around the background of these teammates, their family life etc.
- Both dramas focus on both the professional sports and the romance between the main leads, equally so.
- Both dramas also have a a really cute side couple with a very different type of romantic relationship compared to the leads.

Differences:
- Even though in HSS the FL is not an athlete, her job in the drama is entirely revolved around the shooting sport.
- In HSS the main leads knew each other in high school, but their romance mainly focuses on them starting their relationship from the beginning as they get to know each other because of their professions similar to FIYS.

- Both star Ztao as the main lead
- FL works for the ML as his assistant
- Similar bickering relationship between the ML and FL
- FL likes the second lead at first but then he betrays her.
- In both dramas the FL helps the second lead with his work and helps him try to get to the top.
- Similar type of comedy
- Ztao's character is very similar in both dramas and very real (I think he put his own personality in his characters).
- BSitS is an outright slow burn whilst LR is sort of a slow burn only the ML always liked the FL and the FL slowly grows to like him the same way.

- The first 10 episodes of LU follows almost the exact same storyline as the whole plot of PL.
- FL in LU time travels from 2024 to 2012 and in PL she travels from 2020 to 2010
- She meets the ML in the past and they fall in love.
- The FL is older than the ML (at least in the past she travels to) and she is also mature and successful in her field. She is not in the least bit annoying.
- FL meets her younger self and they become really close (good friends).
- The FL is not able to stay in the past with the ML and has to go back to her own timeline.
- In both dramas the ML remembers the FL from 2012 and 2010 and waits 12 years in LU and 10 years in PL to meet her again.

Big difference in LU from PL:
- LU storyline focuses both on 2024 and 2012 whilst PL only focuses on 2010. In PL we get to see the leads meeting in the present and falling in love again whilst in PL we only see the present day briefly (a few minutes) where the leads meet again.
- There is also a villain in LU (whose plot. doesn't really make sense) whilst in PL there are no bad guys.

- Rich ML and poor FL (technically rich in L&L but she was poor almost throughout the drama because she didn't remember her rich family)
- ML is obsessed with the FL and does everything he can to get her to be with him despite her being in a romantic relationship with the SML.
- In L&L the FL loses her memories and forgets the ML (and SML) and in SD the ML forgets the FL both due to accidents.
- The ML genuinely loves and cares for the FL and would sacrifice anything and everything for them and the FL is (on many instances) cold to the ML and disregards his feeling for her.
- Cast full of visuals and great acting.

- L&L is a lot more dragged (46 episodes) in comparison to SD (14 episodes) and the plot does get very repetitive and annoying.
- L&L is a historical drama, and like any historical Chinese drama, there is a lot of death.

SPOILER:
They both have a happy endings after all the characters go through a lot, in L&L the character go through a LOT more in comparison to SD.

The begining of these dramas are similar.
- They start of with a carefree FL who finds the ML (saves him in TL)
- The FL and ML share a really cute and pure friendship at the start where it is clear that the ML likes the FL (it is reciprocated in TW)
- Time jump within the first several episodes where the leads grow out of their carefree selves and have to be tough because of circumstances and people trying to kill them.
- The FL in TL and ML in TW grow out of their sweet and innocent selves and become really strong and powerful because of hatered. They become feared by eveyone.
- The FL dies in TL in the first few episodes and the ML in TW is thought to be dead after the first few episodes by the FL. The leads in TL and TW mourn for the loss of the other lead for years until they meet again.
- When the leads meet again, there are a lot of misunderstandings between them where the FL in TL and the ML in TW hates their leads as they believe they were betrayed and essentially killed by them.
- The ML in TL amd FL in TW also grow stronger as the story goes on.
- Neither dramas really have a happy ending where the leads are concerned.
That's about where the similarities end, the supporting characters are very different, and so is the plot.
- The FL in TL is probably more similar to the SFL in TW, her character also mirrors the ML in TW.

One is a Korean mini series and one is a Hong Kong series. HM reminded me a lot of Mimi, though I preferred Hello Misfortune a lot more.
- Mimi and HM have very different vibes, Mimi is more sad overall, and only focused on the main leads whilst HM does focus a lot on the side characters.
- The FL is dead in both dramas and she is a ghost (and has been dead for several years) following the ML (for different reasons) even though she's not really suppose to.
- In Mimi the ML doesn't remember the FL whilst in Hello Misfortune the FL doesn't remember the ML, for supernatural memory loss reasons.
- Both ML's blame themselves for the FL's death.
- Both ML's liked the FL before her death (this is hinted at in HM).
- Both dramas have a SFL that in Mimi does end up with the ML whilst in HM, seems very likely to (but does not) end up with the ML.
- HM had an open, happy ending, whilst Mimi had a (to me) sad, bittersweet ending, one I hated.
