You are absolutely entitled to feel the way you do and I hope I did not offend. I just get kind of frustrated when people expect great maturity in love from young adults who are just learning about love. Even though they didn't date, they were in the same friend group and for whatever reason that I admit I cannot fathom, she developed a mad crush on him. I think ML says "you pick" because even though he's praying she picks him, he really just wants her to know how he feels but absolutely does not want her to feel under any pressure herself.
