He never thought it was her fault. He was upset that she didn't visit him during his recovery and that she didn't even seem to know he'd been in such a horrible accident.

I think he had started growing attached to her and seeing her hurt and crying made him decide to just let the grudge go, especially since she seemed to have no recollection of the accident and did not realize she'd hurt him somehow. Like he said, after a year of being dramatic about his hand it was enough already.

Why did my third watch of this beautiful series hit so much harder? I felt so much angst and even had literal butterflies in my stomach when he was expressing his love. A million sighs.

She tried to sell the painting to Mr. Han but he convinced her that it was a forgery, so she took it back to the house.

I can only accept the second ending if I want to continue to live, lol.

I'm going with the after the credits scene because that's the only way I can live with myself and don't care what happened in the book, which I will never read. Also agree about the mother.

My sentiments exactly. I love this series so very much and OMG Jerry Yan. I am doing a rewatch and almost have a guttural reaction to some of his moves. When watching Speed and Love I thought that He Yu was a younger, sexier, more sensuous version of Jerry Yan, but Mr. Yan wins hands down.

He started developing an interest in her at around episode 7 or 8; maybe sooner. And then he fell hard. I love the ML in this series. He is even loving to the cat!

I couldn't believe my eyes today when I saw that the final episode hadn't yet dropped on Netflix.

We heard police sirens when ML was confronting the step-father with his crimes, so I think he went to prison.

I never felt sorry for him because he's such a schemer. Yes, it was nice of him to set her free in the divorce, but before that he just stood by and let his mother abuse her. He did not deserve her. Plus, stop trying to get back with someone who clearly has no feelings for you.

Excited it's on Netflix, too!!!

Was it better the second time around? I may start rewatching it tonight and then start with this one. Can't make up my mind!

I keep wondering if the actress's arm was sore during the filming, he grabbed her arm/wrist so much. Loved this series, though, and rewatching now for like the 4th or 5th time. And yes, the kisses were good. Even that first unexpected smooch. :)

I was, too. I might not normally have tuned into this, but thankfully our pals over at Shine on Me suggested it so I gave it a go and am SO glad I did! Now I'm about to dive into My Page in the 90s! :)

Still missing LBL, but looking forward to my binge.
