This is very bad news, but it seems like she is trying to get him to choose himself as well as her. She doesn't want him to keep choosing her at the expense of his own mental and physical well-being, but is going about it the wrong way.
But this move everyone is talking about is all kinds of fucked up and for some reason I don't trust this Cen guy.
OMG. Why did I stay up to watch this? There are not enough episodes left to ease my anxiety.
He is not a cruel person. If she truly needed an abortion for health reasons he would be sad but understand the necessity and would never try to convince her to risk her life to have a baby. She told him she'd had an abortion most likely to get a rise out of him so he'd suddenly realize how much he really cared for her. Or maybe she told him she was pregnant and when he was not thrilled got the abortion without telling him for the same reason. That post-appendicitis scene in the hospital suggests the latter, and that she was never actually pregnant. Who knows what that crazy girl was thinking.
When he was pursuing the FL he'd made it very clear that he was done with the "girlfriend," but she would not accept it, which, as you said, is a too common trope. They were sleeping in separate bedrooms until the sister came back to town, so technically he was not cheating.
He was definitely weak and wrong for taking so long to cut that toxic cord.
I honestly hope the ML's ex-wife has a quiet word with FL and tells her how changed for the better this new relationship is making him. Her friends are such Debbie Downers. The ex-wife can also reassure her that there are no lingering feelings between the two.
I also wish her self-esteem wasn't so low. She slays at work and it's so obvious how much he cares for her. Hopefully that will come to head in the next episode and they'll team up to unearth the traitors.
Does Seong Jun know about the accident? Was he at the scene also?
I don't think so, but he discerned that something is definitely amiss with Seung Ri's father and that was confirmed when he saw the reactions of his two friends to the photo of ML's father and the chairman.
I was wondering how they were going to fill out 120 episodes and I'd rather it be this drama than a make up to break up main couple. In fact, I love how open they both are to going to the US together if it comes to that.
FL needs to work on her self-esteem and better friends. Actually, maybe she should talk to her perceived rival who will tell her how ML is a better version of himself now that he's with FL. I hope this week's bride's honeymoon is a disaster because she spouts too much crap without any information, just like the jackass that is the ex-boyfriend.
I am frustrated with her because even though her ex undoubtedly did a job on her self-esteem, ML has been perfection. You don't want me to return to the US? Tell me to stay. Don't want me to talk to ex-MIL, I won't. Automatically serves her at lunch and helps her exit an overcrowded elevator without any thought to anyone else on the team.
What more does she want???
I hope they settle this next week because there are only four episodes left and we've got two traitors in the house.
Ah so it was Dai Chi who drove the car that killed G's dad, and SR's dad took the blame and went to jail for it....…
If that is the case, I want to see some serious suffering when the truth comes out because that man is showing zero signs of guilt and actively plots against Gyeol. What an asshole.
They had been in a very long-term relationship, so even though the final decision should absolutely be up to her, she never discussed it with him until after and he was heartbroken because family means everything to him. Plus, I suspect she might not even have really been pregnant and said that to get a rise out of him. She was completely delusional and proprietary and became like a ball and chain.
It's good though and the sexual tension between MC and his love for her are really good.
Okay, just finished watching 14. Our ML is totally whipped. I had to laugh a little when he was frantically looking for those earrings. Like she said, "Do you even know what you're doing right now?" Poor thing.
And Tu Li or whatever her name is was funny trying to run game on JingJing, who was as cool as a cucumber. Loved that he told Jing twice that that girl is not his girlfriend.

This series is sooooo good.
